Dance Unto the Lord

July 29, 2010

Tonight was an interesting night. Dawn and I were expecting huge and wonderful things. We have found it is much better to have high expectations with the Lord, rather than no expectations at all. We didn’t have the night we were expecting though. That doesn’t mean wonderful things didn’t happen, Dawn and I just aren’t fully aware of them.

We started our night at the Bellagio. We stayed here and waited for the Lord to start highlighting people so we could talk with them. There was only one guy who was both highlighted and receptive at the same time. He apparently had sprained his ankle, and was in quite a bit of pain. We got permission to pray for him, and he said his ankle improved quite a bit. That was all he wanted though, and he walked off, not really saying anything.

Dawn and I made our way down to the Flamingo. We were still waiting for the breakthrough. Tonight was certainly different compared to the last three nights. The doors just weren’t opening up, and we’re not really sure why. Even if we didn’t pray for a lot of people, we certainly prayed a lot for the area. We haven’t spent very much time in the Flamingo, so it was nice to pray over the place in the Spirit.

We then walked back towards the Bellagio, and went in front of Caesar’s. There is an Asian idolatrous shrine in front of Caesar’s. We stopped there for quite some time and prayed over that region. We have already done this several times, but the shrine is still standing, so we keep praying against it. What we’re really hoping for is something similar to that found in I Samuel 5:1-4—

1 Then the Philistines took the ark of God and brought it from Ebenezer to Ashdod. 2 When the Philistines took the ark of God, they brought it into the house of Dagon and set it by Dagon. 3 And when the people of Ashdod arose early in the morning, there was Dagon, fallen on its face to the earth before the ark of the LORD. So they took Dagon and set it in its place again. 4 And when they arose early the next morning, there was Dagon, fallen on its face to the ground before the ark of the LORD. The head of Dagon and both the palms of its hands were broken off on the threshold; only Dagon’s torso was left of it.

We understand the ark of the covenant is not here, but we figure there is something way more powerful than the ark. The temples of the Holy Spirit are here, Dawn and I. (See I Corinthians 6:19.) We pack the entire Kingdom of God with us (see Luke 17:21) wherever we go. We are expecting this shrine to crumble before our eyes to the ground any moment. We don’t know why it hasn’t happened yet.

We made it back to the water fountains in front of the Bellagio. Nothing was really opening up for us to pray for people, so we decided to sit down and begin to worship by singing songs. We didn’t sing very loud, but still released the Kingdom over that area. We stayed there for about an hour worshiping. Two people actually came up to us to talk. We blessed them both, and one blessed us by playing us several Christian tunes on his harmonica. He was a very nice African-American guy named, James.
We were just getting ready to start going home, for it was already 1:50 AM, when we asked the Lord if there was anything else He wanted us to do. I heard, “Stay out here another ten minutes. I want you to dance and sing the entire distance of the sidewalk in front of the water.”

This was kind of a new one for me, but I figured who really cares what people think of me. I am not planning to dance and sing to impress them. Besides there were plenty of drunk people out. Who cares what people thought of me. I got my orders from the King. Why would I want to fear man more than God? I didn’t tell Dawn about the dancing and singing part, but I told her we needed to go along the sidewalk all the way back in front of the water. I just started singing in tongues and dancing all the way down the sidewalk. Dawn saw that I was having fun, so she did the same thing. We got some funny looks, but honestly it was really exhilarating. We’re not sure exactly what took place in the Spirit, but it was good.

When we were in the elevator on our way to our car, two African-American guys in their 20’s entered in with us. One guy said, “My back hurts so bad. I need to see a chiropractor. I shouldn’t be in this kind of pain. I’m too young.”

I figured in my own mind, “Hey, he was the one who was saying that he needed a chiropractor. I know a great One, Jesus. Also, they happen to be in the same elevator as us, so I figure God wants to heal him.” I asked the guy, “Do you want to be healed of your back pain right now? We see radical miracles all the time.”

He replied, “And who are you going to pray too?”

I thought this was a great question. This is certainly something I would want to know. “I am going to pray to Jesus. Jesus is going to heal you.”
“Oh well, I don’t believe in Jesus.”

“That’s ok, you don’t have too, but he believes in you. Also, if you don’t believe you can get healed that’s ok too. I believe you can, and I have lots of faith. You can borrow some of mine.”
This guy still didn’t want to play, but his friend talked him into it. He gave us permission to pray for him. We said, “In the name of Jesus Christ, we command all the pain to go to the cross right now. We command this back to come into alignment. Holy Spirit, please come and massage his back. Now test it out, is there any change?”

“No, I don’t really feel any change.”

“Ok, let’s go for it again. Holy Spirit, come. We command healing in your back right now in the name of Jesus. Be healed. Now test it out. Are you feeling anything going on?”

“Ya, that’s strange. I feel this fiery thing on my back. My back doesn’t really hurt right now. I feel this fire though. If this works, and my back doesn’t hurt anymore, I’m going to believe in this Jesus.” After he said that he walked off. He did shake our hands, and so did his friend. I believe God is able to win this challenge.

Lord, thank you for what You did tonight. We might not fully understand it, but we thank you for it. Nothing is ever in vain when it is done for You. We honor You. We pray all of this in the name of Jesus, Amen.

P.S. We also got more shots of supernatural orbs in the sky.

Well, Bless God, Amen

By Nathan D. Pietsch

Holy Spirit Conference at ICLV
Prophetic words of destiny
Man gets saved

July 28, 2010

Tonight was the final night of the Holy Spirit Conference at the International Church of Las Vegas. The Holy Spirit lit it up the place through Bishop Joseph Garlington. What an encounter we all had with the Living God.

One of the key points that I took from the night was a simple phrase: “Well, Bless God, Amen.” In other words, no matter what your situation or circumstance looks like, “Well, Bless God, Amen.”

God has all the answers, means, and ability to every situation. Our role is to simply keep our focus on Him.

After the conference, Dawn and I made it onto the Strip at 11:30 PM. We walked from Treasure Island to the Wynn Hotel and Casino. God just seems to direct us as we walk around. Dawn got a hunch to walk to the entrance of the Wynn Hotel. On our way, we found our treasure.

His name is Keith from North Carolina, and a 24 year old African-American with a strong destiny over his life. He is a believer in Jesus, but had walked away from God for two years, because he didn’t make it into professional baseball. He prayed a lot previously, but he still didn’t make it. This created bitterness in his heart towards the Lord. Dawn and I poured truth into him for an hour.

Keith is such a polite guy. He kept telling us, “Thank you for stopping to talk to me. I would have never expected this in Las Vegas. You don’t know what this means to me. I have never experienced anything like this before. Thank you.” He was very touched, and it was a great honor for Dawn and I to meet him.

Our final God-encounter was with Loren. He is homeless, and in his 40’s. He was desperate for something. However, he didn’t know he was desperate for Jesus until we told him. We walked him through the sinner’s prayer, and he stepped from darkness into light.

Lord, thank you so much for what You did tonight. Thank you for pouring water into the dry desert. Thank you for bringing that dry desert to life. Continue to nourish Your people. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Sweet Holy Spirit

By Nathan D. Pietsch
Holy Spirit Conference at ICLV
Weighty Glory
Back and sciatica healed
Ankle healed
One salvation
Hope to drug addict
Broke off spirit of suicide
July 26, 2010

Dawn and I normally hit the streets of Las Vegas around 7:30 PM. However, since we have arrived in Vegas about three weeks ago, we have been attending the International Church of Las Vegas (ICLV). The church is having their annual, Holy Spirit Conference. Dawn and I decided to go to the conference before going onto the streets later that night. Jake Hamilton from Jesus Culture led worship.

During worship, the Holy Spirit fell so powerfully upon us. For me, I could feel as if an extremely heavy hand was pushing me to the ground. I was completely unable to stand under this weight. Fortunately, I was as close to the alter area/front stage as I could get and was able to hold onto the stage to keep from completely falling down under this unseen force.

After a few seconds, I would try to rise back to my feet and “stand” in His Glory. Each attempt was futile. The power of the Holy Spirit would buckle my legs. This happened five or six times, each time asking for more of the Holy Spirit. Nobody laid hands on me, God just showed up to encounter me.

Dawn and I know that we have been called into a radical life for Jesus. There is no way to accomplish our full destiny in Christ without the help of the Holy Spirit. This is pretty obvious from scripture, when Jesus did not begin His public ministry until after He was baptized in the Holy Spirit. (See Matthew 3 and 4.) We need the Holy Spirit working in our lives. He is so sweet.

The weighty Glory that I experienced during worship is known in Hebrew as, the kaw-bode. (See Strong’s Dictionary H3519.) The kaw-bode is the weighty Glory that filled the temple in II Chronicles 5:13-14 when the ark of the covenant was brought in during the dedication of the temple. The Bible says,—
13 indeed it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying:
“For He is good, For His mercy endures forever,”
that the house, the house of the LORD, was filled with a cloud, 14 so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the LORD filled the house of God.

Dawn and I made it onto the Las Vegas Strip around 11:30 PM. We walked from the Bellagio to Harrah’s. Our first encounter was with an African-American man named, Frankie (40’s). He was having a lot of back and sciatic pain. He had crushed some intervertebral disks in his spine. Dawn and I prayed for him, and his back pain eased, and the sciatica left.

A short distance later, two guys were highlighted. We walked up to them and asked, “Do you guys need any prayer, or radical healing miracles in your body?” One of the guys walked away, but the other, Mike (early 20’s) said, “I twisted my ankle slightly in a basketball tournament.” He is here in Vegas from Texas for a basketball tournament.

I asked, “Do you want your ankle to be healed?”

“Ya sure, how?”

“We’re going to command the pain to go away, and it will. Can we?”

“Go ahead.”

“In the name of Jesus, we command all this pain to go to the cross right now. We command this body to come into alignment. Now test it out. Are you feeling any change, or anything going on in your body?”

“Ya, a little. My ankle doesn’t hurt as bad, but there is still a little pain.”

“Can we go for it again.”

“Ya.”

“We command this ankle to be fully healed right now in the name of Jesus. Is there any change?”

“Ya, it doesn’t hurt anymore.”

“Praise God. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Holy Spirit.” We then prophesied over his God given destiny.

It was pretty clear that this young man was being touched by the presence of God. “Would you like to rededicate your life to the Lord?”

“Ya, I would. I’ve wanted to get closer to God. I know I need something better in my life.”

Dawn and I then lead him through the sinner’s prayer, and afterwards, he started laughing.

He said, “Already I feel better.”

Dawn replied, “Many people come to Vegas to gamble and do other things, but you came to Vegas to get saved. Hallelujah. You have a strong calling on your life.”

Awhile later, Dawn and I approached a guy in his mid 20’s sitting on a bench. He had tattoos all over. We talked with him for awhile, and he told us he was a drug addict. He allowed us to pray and prophesy over his life, but he wouldn’t be convinced that he didn’t need to “clean himself up” before starting a relationship with Jesus.

“You don’t need to do anything to change your life,” we said “you just need to invite Jesus in to help you. That’s the beauty of it, you don’t need to do anything, He does it all for you. You just need to ask Him for help.”

He wanted to believe us, but it seemed too easy for him. He was believing a lie that he had to “do” all this stuff to get saved, and then after getting saved, he would have to do all this more stuff.

We preached a finished works gospel. In other words, Jesus did it all on the cross when He said, “It is finished.” There is no more religious “do-do.” All we have to do is enjoy the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and that is not a have to, it’s a get to.

Our final ministry stop was with an African-American man named, Will. He came out to Vegas from Texas with the hope of “making it big” in the casinos. He lost $4,000, and was left outside to dry. He has been homeless for the past three days, and even contemplating suicide. He is however, a believer in Jesus. We saw him sitting on a bench, so we walked up to him and asked, “Do you need any prayer tonight?”

“I sure do,” he replied. He was completely open. He was desperate.

Dawn and I started getting words of knowledge, and speaking life, truth, and encouragement into his situation. Dawn broke off the spirit of death that had started to linger over Will’s head, in the name of Jesus. Dawn and I could also see that he had a strong pastoral anointing on his life. We prophesied this over him. It turned out, his uncle is a Pentecostal bishop, and grandma was a mighty, mighty prayer warrior. He has been told on several different occasions he should be a pastor.

Dawn and I talked with Will for about 45-minutes. His entire countenance changed. The Holy Spirit was refreshing and reviving him before our very eyes. There is no doubt Will has a strong anointing upon his life. I believe he could be a world famous preacher. It was truly an honor being able to meet and encourage Will.

Lord, we pray for the people You touched tonight. Bless and keep them, and cause Your face to shine upon them. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

God Even Finds Prodigals

By Nathan D. Pietsch
Two salvations
Back healed
God got His treasure
July 24, 2010

While Dawn and I were walking south on the Las Vegas Strip towards the Luxor from the Bellagio, a man (40’s) sitting at the bus stop was highlighted. Dawn and I walked over to him. It was pretty obvious that this man was homeless. When we looked closer at him, we could see that his face was covered in dried blood. Initially it was difficult to see because it was dark.

“What happened?” we asked.

“I fell and broke my lip open.”

“Do you need any prayer for anything?”

“No, I’m fine.”

“Are you sure?” Hey, what’s your name? We want to help you out a little with some cash.”

“My name is Aragon.”

“Glad to meet you, Aragon. My name is Nathan, and this is Dawn. Is there anything you need prayer for?”

“Ya, lot’s of stuff.”

“Ok, well we know the Lord can help you with all your needs. Would you like to rededicate your life to the Lord?”

“Ya.”

“Ok, please repeat after us. Dear Lord, please forgive me of all my sins. Please come into my heart and be Lord of my life. I want all that You have for me, now and forevermore. In the name of Jesus, Amen.”

Aragon said this simple prayer, and we could instantly feel a change in the spiritual atmosphere. We often ask people if they would like to “rededicate” their lives to the Lord rather than saying, “Hey, you need to get saved.” People seem to be way more receptive to the word, rededicate.

When we used to ask people if they wanted to get saved, more times than not they would reply, “I’ve already done that.” It was very clear that they did not know the Savior, Jesus Christ. Using the word “rededicate,” allows a person to recommit their life to Jesus, or actually accept Him as Lord and Savior. This seems to work for Dawn and I. If you have any further tips on street evangelism, please send them our way at: http://www.allsufficientgod.org/contact.php.

While we were crossing one of the bridge overpasses, another guy was highlighted. His name turned out to be Jake, and he was 25 years old living on the streets. He was formerly an EMT, but situations went wrong in his life. He was a believer. We got a word of knowledge that his back was in pain. We got permission to pray for him. We commanded the pain to go, and it did.

A little further on our walking journey, a woman asked us, “Can you help me out with some bus money?” Dawn and I looked at her, and were shocked. She was in her late 50’s, pretty, clean, and very well kept. We didn’t want to ask her if she was living on the streets, but it wouldn’t surprise us. She was obviously not used to being in this situation. She was wrapped in shame and hopelessness. We found out her name was, Cynthia, and she was desperate for a God encounter. Cynthia accepted Jesus into life.

We finally made it to the Luxor Hotel and Casino. Before Dawn and I go out, we ask the Lord where He wants us to go. The Luxor was pressed upon our hearts. Inside the Luxor, an African-American man named, Amod (30’s) was highlighted. He was sitting on the bench by himself drinking a beer. We walked up to him and said, “Hey guy, how ya do’in? Do you need any prayer for anything?”

“No, I don’t need any prayer for anything.”

“Ok, all right, have a nice night.” Dawn and I started to walk away.

“He come back here,” he yelled. Dawn and I went back to him.

“Why did you ask me if I needed any prayer?”

“Well, honestly, you were highlighted to us by the Lord. We felt compelled to come over here and talk to you.”

“You’re telling me you think God told you to come over and talk to me?”

“Ya, that’s right. What’s your name? My name is Nathan, and this is Dawn.”

“Amod.”

“Well, it’s an honor to meet you, Amod. God wants to let you know how much He loves you.”

Amod replied, “I just can’t believe this. God came and got me. God came and got me!

Amod stood up and gave us hugs. He didn’t want to let us go. He even gave me a kiss on the cheek.

“Thank you, guys for coming out here. Keep doing what you’re doing!” he said. He then got up and left.

We never really found out all what was going on in his life, but it was obvious he was touched. To Dawn and I, this little encounter doesn’t seem that significant, however, there is no telling what just transpired in Amod’s life.

Dear Lord, we bless you for an amazing night. Thank you that you love us so much that You are willing to go into the pig pen to reach us. Thank you that Your arms are always open to us, no matter where we are, or what we have done. Bless these people, Daddy. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Miracle of Salvations

By Nathan D. Pietsch
Previously dislocated shoulder healed
Leg supernaturally grows out
Youths feel the Holy Spirit physically
Three salvations
Demon manifestation
One near fight
July 22, 2010

The greatest miracle of all time is that of salvation. When a person receives Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, a miracle has taken place. Leading somebody to start their own personal relationship with Jesus, is the ultimate prize for an evangelist. However, oftentimes the raw power of God needs to be demonstrated in order to convince somebody that Jesus is real.

The apostle Paul wrote several verses for us to learn. In I Corinthians 2:4-5 the Bible says—

4 And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 5 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.

Paul went on to say in I Corinthians 4:20—

20 For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power.

When God performs miraculous signs and wonders through you, they should ultimately point the person in the direction of starting a relationship with Jesus. Miraculous signs are a tool to help others believe in His name. We see this clearly explained in John 2:23—

Now when He was in Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast, many believed in His name when they saw the signs which He did.

Honestly, street evangelism is hard enough, but trying to convince someone into a relationship with Jesus seems very difficult to me indeed. For me, the fruit of the Spirit (see Galatians 5:22) and the gifts of the Holy Spirit (see I Corinthians 12, Romans 12:3-8, Ephesians 4:7-16) are crucial in ministry. Whichever spiritual gifts you use, they must be done out of love, according to I Corinthians 13. I find gifts of healing, gifts of miracles, the prophetic, and words of knowledge very helpful in street evangelism. Tonight, three salvations occurred because of the spiritual gifts active in our lives.

Dawn and I were walking south on the Las Vegas Strip towards the MGM. While we were walking, four youths in their late teens or early 20’s got highlighted. They went into a store, so we waited about five minutes for them to come out. I walked up to the group and said, “Hey, do you guys need any prayer tonight? Do you need any radical miracles in your life? Does anybody have any physical body pain?”

One of the guys raised his hand and said, “Yes, I dislocated my shoulder in wresting about a year ago. It has never been the same.”

“Do you want to be healed of your shoulder pain?”

“How?,” he replied.

“I’m going to command the pain out of your shoulder, and the pain is going to leave.”

“Ok, go for it. Let’s see it.”

I replied, “In the name of Jesus Christ, I command all the pain to go to the cross right now. Test it out. Does it still hurt?”

The guy started to move his arm about. He started to smile a little. “Ya, my shoulder feels better, but it still hurts a little.”

“Ok, but at least we are seeing improvement. Thank you, Jesus. Let’s go for it again. In the name of Jesus, I command all the pain to go to the cross and never return. I command this body to come into alignment with the will of the Father. Jesus died on the cross for all of our sin, disease, and injuries. We don’t need to be in pain. Can you test it out again?”

He began to move his arm around again. “The pain is gone he said,” with amazement.

I knew there was more the Holy Spirit wanted to demonstrate for these guys, but I wasn’t sure what it was. Then I got a word of knowledge for somebody having a hurt back. “Hey, who has a hurt back?,” I asked. The same guy raised his hand.

“Your back hurts, huh?” I asked.

“Ya, my back hurts. The doctors also thought that I would permanently walk with a limp because I had a hip issue once.”

With this new information I had gathered, it seemed pretty obvious that his leg length was off.

“Do you know if your leg length is even?”

“No, I don’t know. How can you tell?,” he asked.

“It’s easy. All you need to do is sit down on the ground and we can check it.”

He sat down on the ground, and sure enough his right leg was a half inch shorter than the other. The four youths all witnessed and verified verbally that it was shorter, and of course Dawn and I could easily tell as well.

I spoke to the four boys, “Let me tell you what is going to happen. I am going to command your leg to grow and your hips to come into alignment in the name of Jesus. Are you all ready to witness a miracle before your very eyes? I’m not going to pull on his leg in anyway. I am only going to speak.”

These guys were pretty interested to see what was going to happen. I spoke the words, and before all of our eyes, his leg popped out into its correct alignment.

“Are you feeling anything in your body right now?,” I asked.

“Ya, I feel tingling all over. That’s weird,” he replied.

These guys were actually pretty excited to see what had just happened. I then turned to the three others and asked them, “Have you ever felt the raw physical presence of God on your body?”

They looked at me pretty oddly, and said, “No.”

“Do you want to?,” I asked.

They looked at each other trying to know if it was safe or not. Then one of them said, “Ya, I want to.”

“Ok, put your hands out with your palms facing up. Holy Spirit, please come, we invite You in. Touch our bodies with your love. You might begin to feel a cooling sensation in your hands, a heat, or maybe tingling.”

After a few seconds, I asked them, “Are you feeling anything?” I was feeling a cold sensation in my palms.

“Ya, wow, I feel tingling all over my hands,” they began to admit.

“That’s the Holy Spirit loving on you and proving He is real.” I then asked them, “Are you ready to walk into your God-given destiny?”

“Ya,” they replied.

“Ok, repeat after me. ‘Lord Jesus, please come into my heart. Forgive me of all my sins. Please be Lord of my life. I want all that You have for me now and forever more.’” It was wonderful seeing their faces light up with smiles and laughter after they received Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.

Unfortunately, one of the guys backed out of the circle and refused to go any further. I guess he wasn’t ready for the greatest gift he could ever receive. The Lord is going to get him though. His three buddies just got saved.

It is really interesting how street evangelism sometimes goes. You can go from a fabulous experience to a complete low, or vice versa in a matter of moments. Several minutes after these guys got saved, another group of guys got highlighted. I saw three African-American guys sitting down and one more talking with them. I approached them and basically asked the same question, “Hey gentlemen, excuse me, do you guys need any prayer tonight? I mean not just prayer, I’m talking radical miracles. Do any of you have any physical body pain?”

The guy standing, said to me, “Ya, I need a miracle.”

“Ok,” I replied, “What?”

“I need a miracle of you going into that store and buying me a case of beer.”

“Oh, I have something way better than beer.”

“You do? Why didn’t you tell me sooner, and what is it?”

“I have Jesus. He is way better than any beer you will ever drink. Do you want to get whacked out on His love?”

The group began to turn on me once I mentioned the name of Jesus. However, the guy said he wanted to get whacked out.

I then said, “I release the bliss love of Jesus Christ over you right now. You never have to come down. You have an unlimited supply of his love. You never have to have a bad day, and it is always free. I release this over you in the name of Jesus.”

The guy then began to manifest a demon. “What I need is a case of beer! Are you going to go buy me some *&$%... beer?”

“No, I’m not,” I said.

“Then get the *&$%, *&$% *&$% *&$% out of my face.”

The guy started walking closer to me, calling me all sorts of profanities. I didn’t know what he was going to do. He stopped about a foot from my face.

I stood my ground and said to him, “You have no authority over me at all!”

There was no way I was giving this demon authority to come any closer to me. If a person messes with me, they are messing with my Father, and all of Heaven. If this guy would have crossed the line and actually attacked me, I could feel power pulsating through my left fist, ready for a left hook. I have black belts in three different martial arts.

The Lord taught me a long time ago not to be relying on the years of martial art training. He wants me to rely on Him. Believe me, it is way better to rely on the power and might of the Lord, than on my own physical abilities.

Dawn and I learned this a couple of Halloweens back when this powerful demonic guy started manifesting and grappling with me while we were praying for him. We weren’t expecting that scene, but it happened. I was ready to launch the guy hard to the ground with a judo throw, but the Lord didn’t give me permission. Instead, Dawn and I command the demon out in the name of Jesus. When I was grappling with this guy, I could actually feel the power of Dawn’s words go over my shoulders and into this man. I learned then, I would much rather rely on the power and might of the Holy Spirit, than my own abilities.

What is interesting though, this group of guys were highlighted to me to talk to. Did God send me in there to talk with these guys even though I almost got into a fight? Or, perhaps, I simply missed it, and wasn’t prompted to go over there by God. I’m not totally sure. I would lean way more towards the first though. I believe God loves all people so much, that he gives people time after time to repent and accept him. This guy someday is going to have to give an account before the Lord of what he just did to me.

Lord, I pray this guy will get set free. I also pray blessings upon the others you touched tonight. Thank you, Lord. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Power of Prayer

By Nathan D. Pietsch
Prayed for the city
Supernatural orbs appear in photos
July 21, 2010

Before Dawn and I went out onto the Las Vegas Strip tonight, we asked the Lord, “Lord, where would you have us go tonight?” I heard, “Rio, walk it, Paris, walk it.” The Rio Hotel and Casino has been on our heart for the past several days because of a night club there called, Voodoo. We wanted to go pray over it. It is about a half mile off the Strip though. In regards to Paris, we haven’t been inside this section at all. We’ve only walked by it once or twice.

We started our night at the Bellagio and walked to Rio. We walked all around Rio and prayed over the area. We then crossed the street and went to the Palms. We always make an attempt to go to the entrances of night clubs, strip joints, tattoo shops, magic stores, and fortune tellers. From there, we release the Glory of God all over the place.

We eventually made our way back to Las Vegas Boulevard. We went into Paris, Planet Hollywood, and the Miracle Mile shops. Certainly tonight was a lot more interceding for the region than the people. I was actually starting to get a little frustrated, because I didn’t feel I had a release to start pray for people individually. I certainly have a strong evangelical anointing on my life, so I want to see people get saved.

The Lord is still teaching me though, through Dawn. Dawn is more of an intercessor. She likes to pray over the land, and the strongholds in a region. I would rather minister to the people. However, the Lord is having us pray a lot more for Las Vegas itself, rather than individual people.

Dawn believes praying for the region is like the Air Force. The aerial combat fighters go into a region and “soften it up” with their air strikes. The foot soldiers then should go in and clean-up. For me personally, I just want to run in and start pulling hostages out of the clutches of the devil. That doesn’t mean I don’t have a strategy though. I am like a guerilla warrior behind enemy lines, going into the dark areas, and pulling people into the light.

I understand what Jesus said to the seventy that He sent out to spread the Good News. Jesus said in Luke 10:3—

Go your way; behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves.

When Jesus said this however, the promise of the Holy Spirit wasn’t given yet. The Spirit came to dwell within His people after Jesus’ resurrection from death. We see the fulfillment of the promise of the Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 1. Even if I am still a lamb amongst wolves, I at least have to qualify as a “Lambo.” I plan on taking out some wolves in order to see people set free.

During our walk tonight, I started to wonder, “Lord, honestly we are only two people. What good does it really do for us to pray over this region, and walk all around it?” The Lord began to speak to me through scripture. He reminded me of two specific areas of scripture. The first was Numbers 14:11-21. The Bible says—

11 Then the LORD said to Moses: “How long will these people reject Me? And how long will they not believe Me, with all the signs which I have performed among them? 12 I will strike them with the pestilence and disinherit them, and I will make of you a nation greater and mightier than they.” 13 And Moses said to the LORD: “Then the Egyptians will hear it, for by Your might You brought these people up from among them, 14 and they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land. They have heard that You, LORD, are among these people; that You, LORD, are seen face to face and Your cloud stands above them, and You go before them in a pillar of cloud by day and in a pillar of fire by night. 15 Now if You kill these people as one man, then the nations which have heard of Your fame will speak, saying, 16 ‘Because the LORD was not able to bring this people to the land which He swore to give them, therefore He killed them in the wilderness.’ 17 And now, I pray, let the power of my Lord be great, just as You have spoken, saying, 18 ‘The LORD is longsuffering and abundant in mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression; but He by no means clears the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation.’ 19 Pardon the iniquity of this people, I pray, according to the greatness of Your mercy, just as You have forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.” 20 Then the LORD said: “I have pardoned, according to your word; 21 but truly, as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD—

Moses—one person—actually interceded for the entire nation of Israel. God was ready to destroy all of them, but Moses “changed the mind” of God. God spared the nation because of one person’s prayers. If God did that for Moses, He will surely do that for you and I. The Bible makes it clear there is no partiality with God. (See Acts 10:34, Romans 2:11, and Ephesians 6:9.)

Not only that, II Corinthians 3:12-19, gives you and I permission to excel way further than Moses did. The Bible says—

7 But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away, 8 how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious? 9 For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory. 10 For even what was made glorious had no glory in this respect, because of the glory that excels. 11 For if what is passing away was glorious, what remains is much more glorious. 12 Therefore, since we have such hope, we use great boldness of speech— 13 unlike Moses, who put a veil over his face so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the end of what was passing away. 14 But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ. 15 But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart. 16 Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

The second scripture the Lord brought to my mind was James 5:16b. The Bible says—

16 ...The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

Am I saying that I am righteous? Absolutely. The Bible says I am righteous because I am in Him. In Isaiah 45:24a the Bible says—

He shall say, ‘ Surely in the LORD I have righteousness and strength'...

Therefore, I can rest assured that the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much, because I am righteous in Him.

God was also so good to show us we were making a difference by physically manifesting in our photos. If you look closely into the photos of the Eiffel tower replica, you will see a number of orbs. These white circles of light are considered by many to be angels. Dawn and I have a number of photos with similar orbs in them during praise and worship services. It is pretty evident to see the power of prayer. When we pray, God responds.

Lord, thank you for the heart You have towards mankind. Thank you for your great grace and mercy. Please remove the blinders of the people in Las Vegas. We pray all of this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Finally Breakthrough

By Nathan D. Pietsch
Prayed for about 50 people
Suicidal man got saved
Prophecy and words of knowledge released
Leg supernaturally grows out
July 20, 2010

Tonight Dawn and I felt compelled to walk from the Bellagio to the Stratosphere. It is about a three mile walk one way. Our purpose was to pray over the Vegas Show called, Bite. If you don’t know what Bite is, let me paste in a paragraph from the website: http://www.bitelasvegas.com/pages/1_main.html. Please don’t go to the website though, I only have it posted as a reference.

Bite is a Las Vegas Vampire show with Classic Rock music and topless Vampires! Hardcore dancing, superhuman feats of strength, tragic magic, human flying, live singing, martial arts and contortion, with the hot, erotic rock angels of the night make this show a must see event!

A person can call this show whatever they like, but it is a pure satanic performance. We thought we would go release the Kingdom of God over the place. After all, the Bible says in Deuteronomy 11:24—

Every place on which the sole of your foot treads shall be yours...

You can also check out Joshua 1:3, for it is the same verse.

On our prayer march to the Stratosphere, we were able to pray for about 50 different people. The northern area of the Strip is not very nice at all. There are many homeless people in that region. We were able to pray for many of them.

There is also a world expo being held here for the hearing impaired. There has to be hundreds of these wonderful people running around. We actually noticed them last night, and attempted to pray for some of the them, but they rejected our offers to pray for them. Tonight we were determined to pray for them again. I wrote out on a piece of paper, “God loves you so much. Can we pray for your ears to hear better?”

We prayed for about fifteen people for the Lord to heal deafness. We didn’t notice any physical breakthrough in any of them. We know our labor is not in vain though. (See I Corinthians 15:58.) At least we are 15 people closer to seeing this miracle manifest all the time. Heidi Baker has about a 97% healing ratio with deafness, is what I have been told.

Along our walk we would go into all the tattoo parlors and other dark shops. In the tattoo shops, you could actually feel the “critters” in the room. There was a physical thickness of oppression in the atmosphere. Hallelujah we released the thick, ooey gooey Glory of God, like that found in II Chronicles 5:13-14.

We know better than to combat from the second heaven realm. The second heaven realm is the satanic realm. We wouldn’t recommend going into a place and start commanding unclean spirits out, unless you have an authority there. We simply raised above the second heaven realm by praying in tongues and praising Jesus.

We don’t need to fight and labor in hard-core intercession, we get to enjoy the Lord’s presence while we bask in the finished work of the cross. As we praise and exhalt His name in such a place, the atmosphere automatically begins to shift. Psalm 22:3 holds true for us, as well as Israel—

3 But You are holy, enthroned in the praises of Israel.

God lives within our praises to Him. The enemy does not want to be around the thick, ooey gooey Glory of God.

There are a number of other testimonies that happened as we went along the journey, but it is just too much to write out. I am starting to feel like the Apostle John when he wrote in John 21:25—

And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. Amen.

After all, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (See Hebrews 13:8.)

After we prayed over the Stratosphere and the theatres, we started heading south, back towards the Bellagio. While we were walking on the other side of the street, a man named Richard (late 30’s), was walking in the same direction we were. While he tried to pass us, the Lord highlighted him to us, so we strummed up a conversation.

It turned out that Richard is on the verge of losing his apartment and car. He came to Vegas to try and win, but the opposite has happened. He has already lost several hundreds of dollars, and his situation was going from bad to worse. He also told us that he was bipolar and chronically depressed. He even admitted wanting to end his life. We shared the simple truth of Jesus, and the joy He brings. He was ripe, and received the Lord as his Savior with smiles on the Las Vegas Strip.

Shortly later, the Lord highlighted some more people. It was already around 1:00AM, and the people highlighted were a man, woman, and two small children. They were sitting on the sidewalk, and the man was playing a guitar. It was clear this family was homeless. We crossed the street and went over to them. It turned out that they were believers in Jesus Christ. We asked if we could pray for them, and they were very receptive. In fact, they wanted to stand up and join hands with us. So there on the sidewalk, we had a prayer circle for this family. God brought a lot of encouragement to them, and us too.

We were approaching the end of our time on the streets, when God showed up again. We normally stay out from about 7PM-2AM, six days per week. A group of about eight young adults in their early 20’s all got highlighted to me by the Lord. God is doing something in heavy metal bands right now it seems. These people were actually a Vegas metal band.

I got the word from the Lord, “Go into the middle of all of them and ask, ‘does anybody need prayer or a miracle right now?’” I walked in the midst of them and did as I was instructed. Two of them responded, and were actually fighting with each other to talk with me first. A guy named, Max won the race. I then asked him, “Do you have any pain in your body right now?”

He replied, “Yes, I have this pain between my head and heart I can’t seem to fix.”

Somehow I knew he was needing emotional healing.

He went on, “Is there anything you think you can do for me?”

I responded, “I have some solutions for you.”

He asked, “Will you come stand and talk with me right over here?” He walked about 10 feet away from the others. Dawn actually got surrounded by several young girls in their 20’s, who seemed to be drawn to her. Dawn ministered mightily to them. Max then started to speak, but I immediately, but politely stopped him. The Lord had just given me a download for this guy.

“Max, this is what the problem is. This is why your heart is hurting you. There are lies that you are believing. I feel like somebody has spoken a lot of hurtful things over you that are not true. These words are keeping you in bondage and oppression. These words are keeping you from fulfilling your destiny. I feel as if these words came from somebody special in your life. I believe your mom spoke this over you. If you want to be set free of this, you can be.”

His jaw dropped, and he didn’t know what to say. All he did was extend his hand out to me to shake it.

“How did you know all of that? What kind of work do you do?”

“I knew that because Jesus told me that information about you. He loves you and wants to set you free of these hurts. As far as work goes, this is what I do. I am a traveling missionary with my wife right now. We go out on the streets every night and watch God do miracles. Do you want to be set free of that pain?”

“Yes,” he replied.

I prophetically pulled out the deep rooted lies buried in his heart. “In the name of Jesus Christ, I command these lies to be uprooted right now. These are lies, and I replace the lies with truth. Max, you are valuable, you have a purpose, and God loves you desperately.”

Something absolutely got removed from him. It was almost as if a cork shot out of him. God then began to fill him with His love. You could see it manifesting in the physical realm, because Max started laughing. He didn’t know what was happening, but he knew it was good and supernatural.

I then got a word of knowledge that his legs were not even in length. I asked him if we could check his leg length. At this point, he was open to anything. I had him sit on the ground, and up straight against the curb. Sure enough, his right leg was off, but not very much. It was maybe an eighth of an inch. By this time, a couple of girls in the group were interested in what was transpiring. I explained what was about to happen.

“Do you see his leg length here? Do you see how his right leg is just a little shorter than the left? God is going to supernaturally grow Max’s leg out right before your very eyes. Do you all see that his legs are not perfectly even?”

They agreed it was off just a little. I spoke and laughed, “In the name of Jesus, I command this leg to become even.” That was it. There was no more struggle than that. God adjusted Max’s body before our very eyes.

I then asked Max, “Are you feeling anything in your body right now?”

“Yes, I felt something. I felt my legs go really loose. Now I feel as if they are in balance.”

Dawn and I continued to minister a little longer to this group. Despite all that happened, none of them were ready to accept Jesus as their Savior just yet. It was a fabulous time though. Max was so grateful, and actually the others were too. We prophesied over them, and went our way.

Tonight was a very significant night though. Normally, I am very prophetic, and get prophetic words and words of knowledge on people at will. Also, when I am around this many people, I am salivating at the people treasures I can find and pray for.

However, this last week and a half in Las Vegas has not been so easy. I have hardly gotten any words for anybody. I have also not gotten very many promptings by the Holy Spirit to approach people to pray for them.

Don’t get me wrong, God has been showing up in some pretty neat ways, but most of our time so far seems to be intercession and prayer marching over the region. Finally tonight, we got some breakthrough. God’s Glory showed up, and in His Glory there is no struggle or labor. It is in His Glory where radical miracles begin to flow.

Cold in Vegas?

By Nathan D. Pietsch
Hope brought to hopelessness

Wrist healed by mistake?
July 19, 2010

Tonight out on the Las Vegas Boulevard Strip, we ran across a man named, Donovan in his late 20’s, sitting on one of the walkway bridges that crosses the street. He had a sign saying, “Wife pregnant, need help, God Bless.” Of course you don’t really know if you can trust the sign or not, but I do trust the Holy Spirit, and I felt prompted to go over to him. I asked him, “How are you doing?” It was a pretty obvious answer, but Jesus often asked obvious questions like He did in Luke 18:40-42—
40 So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be brought to Him. And when he had come near, He asked him, 41 saying, “What do you want Me to do for you?” He said, “Lord, that I may receive my sight.” 42 Then Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has made you well.”

Donovan’s response was, “I’m not doing very well at all. I just lost my job several weeks back, and I haven’t been able to get anything. I don’t know what I am going to do.”

At this point, Dawn nor I had not even talked about God yet. All we did was make an effort to go out of our way for this person. He then started talking about Jesus, and how he is a believer. He is part of the Calvary Chapel denomination. Dawn and I attended Calvary Chapel churches for about eight years, so I knew this guy was legitimate, and not lying to us. We were able to pray against his hopelessness.

He then said, “It is so hard sitting out here. Last night and tonight was the first time I have ever done anything like this. It is so humiliating. I just don’t know what to do. People are so mean and cold hearted towards me. It is pretty obvious we are living in the end times because the Bible says the love will grow cold.”

The scriptures that Donovan was referring to is Matthew 24:11-13—
11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

I had to agree with him that the “love” in Vegas is very cold. From our experience, it is very rare to see people smiling or laughing. People don’t want to talk to each other, or even show common courtesies. There are so many people that look so empty. Now with that said, we have a great opportunity.

Jesus said something for us to grab a hold of. In the book of Matthew chapter 5 verses 14-16, the Bible says—
“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven."

If you are in a pitch black room, and somebody lights a match, it is very easy to see the lit flame. We as Christians are called to shine brightly. The darker the region we are in, the brighter our “light” is shining.

So too, if the love is cold, any kind gesture is like a roaring fire. I am not saying that Donovan was cynical. He was simply pointing out something he had noticed, that the love is cold. What I am saying though, is that we are called to love people radically with the love of Christ pouring through us. If you want to change the world, you have got to love the person in front of you.

There are several scriptures that we need to get embedded within us. Jesus said in Mark 12:29-31—
29 Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one. 30 And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. 31 And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Solomon wrote in Proverbs 25:21-22—
21 If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink; 22 For so you will heap coals of fire on his head, and the LORD will reward you.

Even if we are living in the end times, that should not create a complacent attitude among Christians. Our attitudes should not be, "Well, I'm just going to kick back and wait for the rapture." If anything, that should motivate us beyond measure. If Jesus really is coming back soon and rapturing the church out of here, there are going to be a lot of people left behind. If you have read Revelations chapter 6-19, the earth is not a very nice place to be.

Also, the people in these chapters believe a lie that makes it very difficult to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. If someone doesn’t accept Jesus, the Bible makes it clear they are separated from Him for eternity in hell.

I say to the Body of Christ, “Arise, get in the game. Make your life count. Arise in your true identity and power in who you are in Jesus Christ.”

Lord, please bless Donovan and his family. Let him cry out to You even more, and please answer him. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

At another time during the night, we say a women walking with a cane. We went up to her and said, “We have been seeing radical healing miracles on the street. I see that you are walking with a cane, can we command instant healing in your body?”

The woman replied, “I just had back surgery not too long ago. I have two steel rods in my back now. I am in constant pain. My back is never going to get better.”

“Ok,” I said, “can we do it anyways?”

“Well, I guess so,” she said.

“I command all the pain to go right now to the cross and never return. I command this body to come into alignment with the will of the Father right now. I speak strength to your legs, in the name of Jesus. Test it out, do you feel any change?”

“No, I don’t feel anything.”

“Ok, can I go again?”

“Sure.”

“I command all the pain to go right now and never return in the name of Jesus. I speak strength into your legs as well. How does it feel now?”

“I still don’t feel any change. My back still hurts.”

I do know that something happened in her body though, because I actually felt power leave my mouth when I spoke strength into her legs. I could feel she was getting breakthrough in her legs, but she was not very receptive to it.

She then said, “You know, my wrist constantly hurts all the time too. I don’t have any pain in my wrist at all right now. That is really strange.”

Dawn and I talked with her a little more and found out that she is a believer in Jesus Christ. However, it is time that the believers in Jesus become believers in Jesus. He is the Great Physician, nothing is impossible for Him. We need to believe in the real Jesus. He is really great.

I was actually surprised that she had no change in her back. When we pray for people, we are way more shocked if we don’t see any changes, rather than when changes do occur. Healing people in the name of Jesus is the normal Christian lifestyle. (See Matthew 10:8.)

After inquiring with the Lord why there were no changes in her back, the Lord said, “She is the one who said that her back is not going to get better. She is the one who declared that over herself.”

This aligns perfectly with scripture. In the book of Job 22:28, the Bible says—
28 You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways.

In other words, we get what we speak.

Dawn and I also approached many other people. We talked with people wearing ankle braces, in wheelchairs, in constant pain, who are homeless, and who were deaf. I am always amazed that people would rather stay in their condition than give God a chance.

We talked with a deaf couple, and the lady wrote out on paper saying, “I like the quite.” I know that is not a true statement, but I wonder why a person wouldn’t want to get healed.

If I had a serious physical issue, and a stranger walked up to me saying, “Do you want to be healed of that?” I think I would be curious on how they would do it. I would at least gather some information before rejecting the offer.

Lord, you are so wonderful. You desire to heal all your people. Please soften hearts, and prove your love in power and might. Thank you, Lord. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Ministry in Old Town Vegas

By Nathan D. Pietsch
Supernatural angel feather manifested in creative miracle
Man’s sprained foot gets healed
July 15, 2010

Tonight Dawn and I decided to go to the old city of Las Vegas. This is where the Vegas party all started many years ago in downtown. The main event is on Freemont street. The night started off kind of slow. It has been hard for both of us to clearly hear from the Lord thus far in Vegas.

I remember when I was the outreach pastor in Arcata, California when I was at Bethel School of Supernatural Discipleship. The first multiple times we went out on the streets, we had a very difficult time hearing the Lord, following His lead, and getting any sort of break-through. However, we kept going out week after week and sowing into that region. The break-through eventually came after sowing seeds of God’s Glory over and over.

Radical miracles started flowing as well. Many people got saved, legs supernaturally grew out, one lady walked out of a wheelchair who was unable to stand longer than five seconds previously, and a number of other healings took place. I really believe Las Vegas is on the verge of a large street revival. Dawn and I are going to continue going out and sowing seeds. We know the harvest is on the horizon.

We did speak life into a number of people tonight though. Ron, a homeless gentleman was severely bound with a spirit of infirmity. He may have been in his late 50’s, but his spine was very deformed with scoliosis curvatures, and was also bent over at the waist so he was unable to stand up straight. We commanded the spirit of infirmity off of him, and commanded his body to come into alignment with the will of the Father.

We didn’t lay hands on him, but he nearly fell to the ground. However, when it was all said and done, there were no physical changes to his body. Even if we didn’t see anything manifest in the natural, something still happened. It is impossible to release the Kingdom through prayer or declarations and have nothing happen. When healings don’t manifest, I take comfort in several truths.

1). If God doesn’t heal, it is not my burden.

Quite awhile ago, I was having a conversation with the Lord. I wanted to know why more people weren’t getting healed through me. The Lord said, “You are not the one who heals, I am. Your job is simply to release the words.” This actually removed a burden from me. My job is to simply speak words of life. I don’t get the glory if God heals, nor do I get the burden if He doesn’t heal. I just get to enjoy my relationship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

2). If God doesn’t heal, there are a couple of scriptures I rest on.

a). Isaiah 65:23—
They shall not labor in vain,..

b). 1 Corinthians 15:58—
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Everything we do for the Lord bears fruit, whether in the spiritual, physical, or both realms. Nothing we do for the Kingdom is in vain.

Something really neat that happened while we were talking with Ron, was that a supernatural angel feather manifested in a creative miracle. There was no mistaking it, because I have several feathers in my Bible that previously supernaturally appeared before our eyes indoors. Also, before we went out onto the streets tonight, I was asking the Lord for strategy, and he had me release Hebrews 1:14—
Are they [angels] not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?

Therefore, I was not super surprised to see this angel feather appear, but it is always encouraging for the Lord to release a creative miracle. Such miracles want us to thank and glorify God even more.

The feather was released just to the side of my face. It was bright white and pretty small. Unfortunately, as quickly as it appeared, the wind caught it away. It was not a gift for me to keep in my Bible, but rather a conformation that we had an army of angels with us. It is always nice to have friendly angels with you.

Later on, God did show up for us through a healing manifestation. Dawn and I were walking on the street and came across another homeless man named, Paul. It was certainly a divine appointment. He was walking toward us. He wanted money, so we gave him a dollar bill. We could also tell he was walking with a limp. It turned out that he had sprained his ankle early in the day. On a scale of 1-10, ten being excruciating pain, he was at a five. We commanded healing in his ankle. Instantly he said it felt better. We continued to release the Kingdom over him, and encourage him.

Paul was initially going in the opposite direction of us, but he decided to follow and talk to us. His ankle had dropped down to a level-two pain. I told him that Jesus bought total healing for all of us, and asked if I could go after the healing again. He agreed. I commanded all the pain to go in the name of Jesus, and asked him to test it out again. He emphasized the dramatic improvement in this ankle, and was very thrilled he could put weight on it. I asked if he wanted to rededicate his life to the Lord, to receive all that He has for him, and fulfill his destiny. He said he has already done that, and didn’t feel like he needed to do it again. We blessed him and went on our way.

At this point, God started opening up the doors for further ministry. We would walk up to people and say, “Do you want to experience the bliss love of Jesus Christ? He is so amazing and He wants to release miracles over you right now.”

When I say we would walk up to people, I really mean some of the gnarliest looking people. The Lord led us to a group of African-American men in their early 20’s. They looked liked they could be gang bangers. God’s Holy presence showed up because He led us.

In God’s Glory the toughest of people melt. We prophesied and released miracles over these young men. When it was all said and done, they were glowing with radiant smiles and hugging us. God is so much fun.

Another group of people was highlighted to Dawn. We went up to them and made conversation. Dawn started getting words of knowledge about them and prophesying over them. It turned out that they are a heavy metal band from California here in Las Vegas to put on a show tomorrow. They were also pretty radical looking guys. They were very appreciative and thankful that we stopped to talk with them.

Lord, we bless You for what You are doing. We give you permission to do even more. Have your way in this place we pray, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Spiritual Soil’s Been Watered

By Nathan D. Pietsch
Prophetic words of destiny released
July 12, 2010

It seems that the spiritual soil has been watered since last night. People were more receptive to us than previously. We were able to prophecy words of destiny over a number of people.

We are usually out on the streets for about 5-7 hours nightly. Even though revival hasn’t broken out yet, we are releasing the Kingdom the entire time. We walked up and down the streets, and into the casinos praying in the Spirit, and ushering in His presence. We tell the Lord, “You can use us in anyway You desire, we dedicate our time to You.”

Lord, we pray for the salvation of these people. We pray that they would all fulfill their God-given destinies. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

The Harvest is Plentiful

By Nathan D. Pietsch
Prophetic words of destiny released over people
July 10, 2010

Tonight is our first night of ministering to the people. However, it was not the open Heaven we were hoping for. It was a pretty rough night. We did prophesy destiny over a few people though. It was really a tough crowd. After a number of hours, we ended up walking into the forum shops at Caesar’s Palace to try and get some relief. We stayed there and prayed for over an hour.

What is really encouraging though, is that this city is ripe for God. You can see a desperation upon the faces of so many people. I believe people here are ready to encounter a powerful God, they just don't know it yet.

The scriptures from Matthew 9:36 kept coming to mind—36 But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were harassed and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. 37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. 38 Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

Lord, we pray that you would send out laborers into Your harvest, in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Standing In the Gap

By Nathan D. Pietsch
Prayer marching Las Vegas Boulevard
July 9, 2010

Our purpose tonight was to walk on Las Vegas Boulevard from the Stratosphere at the north end of the Strip, to Mandalay Bay at the south end. It is not a sightseeing walk on the streets though. We were to intercede and stand in the gap for these people and the city.

In the book of Ezekiel 22:29-31, the Bible says, 29 The people of the land have used oppressions, committed robbery, and mistreated the poor and needy; and they wrongfully oppress the stranger. 30 So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one. 31 Therefore I have poured out My indignation on them; I have consumed them with the fire of My wrath; and I have recompensed their deeds on their own heads,” says the Lord GOD. We don’t want the Lord saying that He didn’t find anybody who would stand in the gap for righteousness.

The Lord instructed us to release forgiveness, His perfect love, and the Glory of His presence through Kingdom declarations. We were also told to anoint the corners of the streets at both ends. We started our walk at the Stratosphere and walked all the way to Mandalay Bay. We then anointed that section with oil. We crossed the street and anointed that region of the road, and a psychic temple there as well. We made Kingdom declarations, laughed, sang in the Spirit, and prayed in tongues, all the way back up to the Stratosphere. We then anointed that section of the Las Vegas Boulevard.

We are taking back this city, and reclaiming the earth that was originally given to mankind. Man forfeited the earth to the devil when we sinned in the garden of Eden (See Genesis 3). Jesus then redeemed everything for us by His death on the cross and resurrection (See Titus 2:14). Our job is to simply be part of the “clean-up crew.” We are issuing the devil his eviction notice. It is time for him to leave, and give back what he has stolen, with interest (See John 10:10 and Exodus 22:7).

We crossed the street to go back to the Stratosphere where we had started. We anointed this final section with the anointing oil. I was a little amazed at what happened next. I saw in the Spirit a holy wall of fire go all the way to Mandalay Bay where we had anointed it, crossed the street, then came back north, and finally crossed the street to us at the Stratosphere. I didn’t know exactly what it meant, but to me it was a fire of cleansing like that used to purify gold (See Revelation 3:18).

It also reminded me of great power and revival fire. John the Baptist said in Matthew 3:11, “I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.” I do not believe it was a fire of judgement, but rather grace.

This vision also seemed to speak that God was saying, “I am here to take up residency.” The Bible tells us in Hebrews 12:29, For our God is a consuming fire. Seeing this flame ignite brought me peace and encouragement.

I also heard the Lord say to me, “You don’t fully know the impact you have just made on this city.” It’s true, I don’t, but it was encouraging to hear this. Dawn and I had accomplished what the Lord had instructed us to do tonight. The entire trip took about 5.5 hours, and we walked approximately 9.32 miles.

Lord, we pray in the name of Jesus, pardon our sins and fill all the earth with Your Glory. We need you.

Numbers 14:20-21—
20 Then the LORD said: “I have pardoned, according to your word; 21 but truly, as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD—
