Dawn and I had a great opportunity to go to Sedona, Arizona. Sedona is a true oasis in the arid Arizona desert. It is also a renowned place of spiritual gatherers to embark on trips of enlightenment. There is also a specialized New Age tourist industry in Sedona.
The New Age movement has drawn heavily upon traditions that have emerged from the occult. Occultism is the study of occult practices, including (but not limited to) magic, alchemy, extra-sensory perception, astrology, spiritualism, religion, and divination.
If you look at the Bible, which I believe is the standard for living, the Bible clearly rejects occult practices. In Leviticus 19:31 the Bible says:
31 Give no regard to mediums and familiar spirits; do not seek after them, to be defiled by them: I am the Lord your God.
When Dawn and I drove into Sedona we found the "center for the New Age superstore." Upon seeing this, the only logical thing to do as a Christian was to go inside and release the true light of Jesus Christ into the dark places.
All I did was walk in and begin to silently pray for Jesus to forgive the sins taking place at this location. I then asked for Jesus to wash the place with His precious blood. This is one way to advance God’s Kingdom. We are all called to release Heaven here on earth.
