Frontlines :: January, 2017 :: Nathan to Africa :: Nathan & Dawn Pietsch

By Nathan D. Pietsch

It is with great anticipation that I will be headed to Africa for one month at the beginning of February. I will first start my ministry adventure in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Nigeria is known as the "Giant of Africa." It is called this not because of its geographical size, but because of its large population. Nigeria is the most populous country in Africa with approximately 184 million inhabitants.

After my time in Nigeria, I will fly to the Federal Republic of Kenya. Kenya lies along the equator. Its capital and largest city is Nairobi.

During my time in Kenya, the plan is to preach at evangelism revival crusades. However, with the instability of any African country, and the unpredictability of foreign travel, plans can easily be altered.

Fortunately, I have a lot of international travel experience. I have already been to: Japan, South Korea, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland, France, Israel, Canada, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Nicaragua. However, this is my first travel to Africa, so I am sure there will be many culture shocks. Please keep me in prayer, and I will be posting an update in March. Love you.
