After my trip to Africa, Dawn and I stayed two weeks in Southern California before driving to New Orleans, Louisiana. This is now our third mission trip to this region. We are very excited to see what God will do.

We quickly reconnected with our ministry friends in this area. On one particular night at a home group, a man began to show signs of major spiritual disturbances during the anointed worship music. The overseeing leader of the group gave me permission to pray for the man. During the prayer, I had to cast out numerous dark entities. In the end, he received great freedom, dedicated his life to Jesus, and got filled with the Holy Spirit. You can watch the video of this event on YouTube under the title, Man Receives Freedom from Major Strongholds.

Dawn and I were also invited to Mississippi to preach at a church. God showed up powerfully. There were two military veterans in the group who both received a mighty touch from the Lord. I have a great respect for veterans, as my youngest brother is currently serving our country in Iraq as a soldier in the US Army. You can watch the video of Nathan preaching on YouTube under the title, Nathan Pietsch Preaching on Holy Spirit Power.

Dawn and I are very happy to be in New Orleans for this season. We have invested so much ministry time into this region from the years past. We are excited to see what the Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit will do this time.

Born Again

I had an amazing encounter with a New Orleans lady. I needed to go to the laundromat, so as I drove up, I saw a lady approaching my car. As I got out of my car, she told me her name, and started telling me all about her life. In the midst of her story, I said, "Let's pray about all of this."

As I was praying I felt the Lord say, "Ask her if she wants to get a fresh start, or rededicate her life to Jesus."  When I said this, she started to cry, sobbing on my shoulder, as she prayed. She received Jesus into her heart and was forgiven of all her sins, being transformed, with her spirit coming alive! It was a wonderful moment to see an adult woman get born again.
