Woman receives Jesus, speaks in tongues

Dawn and I have been staying at the Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle Campground in Ashland, Virginia. It is an amazing place. However, there was one lady who was really highlighted to both Dawn and I. Her name is “Samantha.” We found out “Samantha” has been living at the Campground for about 6-7 years. If you have ever been to this Campground, you know how amazing it is. However, Samantha did not seem like she really belonged at this ministry. She didn’t show any fruit of the Holy Spirit. (See Galatians 5:21-22.)
When we would attempt to talk with her, she would not look at us in the eyes. She seemed really uncomfortable when we would even mention Jesus. We asked “Samantha” if she remembers when she accepted Jesus into her heart, and she didn’t know when. We also asked if she could speak in tongues, and she could not. The people at this campground love to speak in tongues, and so do I.
Dawn and I had been loving on “Samantha” since we arrived here. After service tonight, the Lord had me talk with “Samantha” in the dining hall where everybody was. I walked up to her and knelt down on one knee so that I could be eye-level with her, since she was in a chair. I said, “Samantha,” tonight is the night. Are you ready to receive?” She knew exactly what I was talking about, and without any resistance, she said, “Yes.” All the previous times we talked about Jesus with her, she didn’t want anything to do with it.
I then lead “Samantha” through the sinner’s prayer. She began to smile, which was the first time I had seen her smile. She then got filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in tongues. It was a great moment, but very alarming. Just because a person attends a church doesn’t mean they have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Church doesn’t save a person, but Jesus does. Everyone of us needs a personal relationship with Jesus Himself.
Lord, we pray that You would continue to minister deeply to “Samantha.” You are so in love with her. May she cherish the relationship she now has with You. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Women’s Conference

Women’s Conference—Calvary Campground
October 22-24, 2010
Dawn and I stayed for the women’s conference we got invited to attend by Jane Lowder. Dawn got to enjoy it because she is a woman, and I got to “work” at it. It was fabulous. They trained me to operate one of the video cameras, and I was responsible for filming the DVD of this conference that is going to go worldwide. I was also given the privilege to “catch.”
Often times when a powerful person of God prays for another individual, the Holy Spirit will fall upon that person so much that the person receiving prayer will fall to the ground. It happens all the time, and to me many times. It is called the Kabod, or weighty glory of God. (See II Chronicles 5:13-14.)
My job was to keep the people from hitting their heads on the floor. While I am catching, I am also able to receive all the anointings that are being released.
The three main speakers at the conference were: Jane Lowder, Debbie Zimmer, and Jeweline Stallings. These women are dynamic and powerful generals of God. They have such a strong anointing upon their lives. I never thought I would say something like this, but it was a great honor to be at a women’s conference. I had all three of these women pray and prophecy over my life. Something certainly happened.
Lord, thank you so much that You are willing to use any willing vessel. Thank you for this ministry and this conference. May we all be filled with Your Holy Spirit fire. Thank you, Lord. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Today I met a guy named, “Fred” (30’s) in Ashland, Virginia. “Fred” has an amazing calling upon his life, but the enemy has had a stronghold in his life. “Fred” has been a Christian for a number of years, but he has struggled with a number of sexual sins. Praise God, he was bold enough to open up and ask for prayer.
The Holy Spirit began to reveal to me some specific details about his life. He had some deep wounds from his childhood. He wanted to be set free of all this baggage. He began to confess past sins—whether acted upon or fantasies—to both me and the Lord. He was bringing light to the darkness.
We could both feel the Holy Spirit removing these secrets. There was also a lot of shame, guilt, and grief “Fred” was carrying. We broke that off in the name of Jesus. I could begin to see a transformation in “Fred.”
After sins had been confessed, and the blood of Jesus had washed them away, we closed the doors on satanic oppression. After this occurred, the enemy no longer had “legal” rights to remain. I looked into “Fred’s” eyes and commanded all unclean spirits, evil spirits, demons, and satan away from “Fred.” “Fred” was absolutely relieved, and the Lord is going to use him mightily.
Dear Lord, thank you so much for delivering “Fred” of sexual pollution. Please keep him pure to his wife for the rest of his life. May he never have such abominable desires again. Thank you, Lord. We pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Dawn and I left Concord, Virginia and drove to Ashland, Virginia. It was a wonderful drive, as we saw old Civil War battlegrounds. It was sad to be in a place knowing so many people were in these battles.
Our time at Calvary Pentecostal Campground has been amazing so far. This ministry was founded in 1937 by the Heflin family. Perhaps their daughter, Ruth Ward Heflin is the most famous of them. While she was still alive, she traveled and ministered in every country on earth. She would minister to kings, queens, nobles, and presidents. She would also have amazing Holy Spirit manifestations of gold cover her when she would worship.
Dawn and I have been able to glean from the rich heritage here. This campground is known for its prophetic anointing. The current camp director, Jane Lowder prophesied over Dawn and I. We have also received other prophetic words from people here. Dawn and I were preparing to leave the campground when Jane invited Dawn and I stay longer.
At first, Dawn and I did not think we should stay any longer. While we were packing up the car, I felt the Holy Spirit speak to me and say we needed to stay. There is a conference here at the campground this coming weekend. When we told some of the staff here we were planning on staying a little longer, they were thrilled. When we told them Jane invited us, they were amazed. Jane and this campground are exceedingly generous, but apparently it is rare for Jane to invite people to stay longer. Perhaps she saw something amazing in store for us.
Lord, please bless Calvary Campground. They have been so wonderful to us. Please pour out an abundance over them for their generosity. Thank you, Lord. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Revival Fire in Concord

Baptisms in the Holy Spirit
October 13-14, 2010
Dawn and I left our dear friends’ home this morning. We had an amazing time at Gabe and Rebecca’s place. Dawn and I were prepared to travel to our next location, the Calvary Pentecostal Campground in Ashland, Virginia. This is where Ruth Ward Heflin, and her family previously ministered. However, the Lord had other immediate plans. We found ourselves going in a different direction.
On this last Sunday at church, the Holy Spirit introduced us to a couple named, Ron (40’s) and Bobbie (39). They invited us over to their house for dinner. They even invited us to stay the night if we wanted. Last week, the Lord gave me an itinerary of the amount of time we were to stay in these various areas. There was a one-day gap the Lord had me put in between Gabe’s house and Calvary Campground. I didn’t understand it at the time, but I do now. We were supposed to stay with Ron and Bobbie, so we decided to receive their offer.
Dawn and I made it to their house for dinner. Two other couples, Todd (40’s) and Cindy (40’s), and Caleb (20’s) and Kristina (20’s) also came over. Bobbie had briefly shared our testimony to them at church on Sunday, and they wanted to learn more about what God is doing in our lives.
All six of them are Baptists with deep roots, but the Holy Spirit has been stirring them.
We all sat around the dinner table and talked. They pounded us—in a loving way—with questions. Some of them believed, others didn’t believe what the scriptures say regarding spiritual gifts. It is not our job to “change someone’s mind,” it is the Holy Spirit’s job. It is our job to release truth in love.
The three women were extremely hungry for more of God. We could feel them pulling on Heaven. Earlier today, I had a vision of the Holy Spirit dropping, and people being filled with the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues. The ladies were absolutely ripe for God’s outpouring. When Caleb and Kristina were getting ready to leave, the Holy Spirit prompted me to ask Kristina if she wanted to receive the gift of speaking in tongues. Boldly in front of everyone, she said, “Yes, I do. If it is of God, I want it.” Dawn and I quickly prayed and prophesied over both Caleb and Kristina. We then activated her in speaking in tongues, and she did. She began to weep, as she felt the release of the Holy Spirit. It was an amazing moment.
Sometime later, Dawn and I were able to pray for Cindy. Cindy is a power house in the Spirit with a strong deliverance ministry. She also got filled with the Spirit and began to speak in tongues. The Lord really showed me that He is calling all of His people to Him regardless of one’s denomination. God is destroying paradigms of people’s beliefs. God is invading our powerless man-made boxes of God.
We also prayed and prophesied over Bobbie, but we got interrupted and had to stop. However, this morning, Bobbie asked if Dawn and I would pray for her some more. We were super happy and eager to do so. Bobbie wanted to receive her prayer language, and began to speak in tongues. Bobbie told us she has been praying to God to send somebody to help her understand what the Lord has been speaking to her about. The Lord sent us to minister, and we are so appreciative and honored that the Lord would use us in this ministry. Bobbie said something to us that was very impacting. She said, “Thank you for packing up all your stuff in Oregon, getting in your car, and going where God sends you.” This meant a lot to us.
Through these three women, the Lord has just started revival fire in Concord. I have no doubt of that. These three women are the catalyst behind a spiritual awakening of God’s glory in this region. It is going to spread from them to many others.
Lord, we so thank you for all You did tonight. We pray a protection over all us. Thank you for the revival fires You just started. We know You have huge plans for this region and Your people in this region. We very much looking forward to seeing what You are going to do here. Thank you, Lord. We pray all of this in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Church in Lynchburg

Gabe and his wonderful wife, Rebecca took their children, Dawn, and I to church this morning. We actually went to two different churches throughout the day. If a person is a Christian in this community, more than likely they are Baptist. We love the Baptists, and they love the Lord. It was really interesting sitting in the churches though. God has so much more to give to anybody who wants to receive it. We did meet some very wonderful people today.
Lord, please pour out Your Holy Spirit on all Your churches around the world. Please don’t let lies keep people from fulfilling their destinies in You. Please ignite Your churches in love and power. Thank you, Lord. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Gabe and Rebecca took Dawn and I around the city to give us the lay-out of the land. We are planning on doing street evangelism on Monday and we would like to find some areas where the people are going to be. They took us all over the area. We’ve even got pictures to prove it. It is a very nice place.
Lord, please pour out Your revival fire over Lynchburg. Please help this city put-off the traditions of men, and put-on the Holy Spirit. Thank you, Lord. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Dawn and I woke up early so we could join Albert and Anna Rountree at their home and the other intercessors. We were so blessed listening to the live music of, Ralph (50’s) and Helen (50’s). They even gave Dawn and I two of their music CD’s. The CD’s are entitled, Holy Mountain and Sacred Wind: Songs of the Kingdom. I highly recommend them. We had an amazing time in the Glory.
Later, Dawn and I went up to Angel Rock. We stayed up there for several hours. This place is truly anointed. The Moravians prayed over this land for a 100 years, and you can tell. Dawn and I made a number of Kingdom declarations while at Angel Rock.
After Angel Rock, Dawn and I met up with Jacquiline. We all ate dinner together, and then decided to hike up to Prayer Mountain in the dark. We were all certainly anxious to encounter the Lord. We sat up on the mountain for two hours praying, singing, dancing, and laughing. None of us saw Jesus or any angels manifest in the natural realm, but I had an amazing vision with my spiritual eyes.
I saw this long corridor with a purple carpet laid on it. This carpet stretched all the way to a throne. Lined on both sides of the corridor were angels with wings wearing white robes all playing a golden trumpet. The trumpets were pretty long in length. As I looked closer directly in front of me, I saw Jesus standing there. He was nearly close enough to touch.
Jesus was wearing His royal garments. He was clothed with a beautiful Kingly robe, and was wearing a golden crown with magnificent jewels inlaid. Jesus was holding a sword in both hands at His waist. The blade was pointing up, and the flat of the blade was resting upon His forehead. Jesus was standing there as if He was waiting for something. It looked like He was waiting to “knight” us, but the vision ended. I’m not really sure what it all meant. If anybody has an interpretation, I would love to hear it.
Lord, thank you for encountering us today. We long for greater encounters with You. There is so much You want to do in all Your people. We ask you to do it. Thank you, Lord. We pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Moravian Falls: Day 3

Lorie’s departure

This morning was a sad day because we had to take Lorie to the Charlotte Airport. She is flying back home to Bend, Oregon. We all had a really great time though. We look forward to our next Glory adventure with Lorie. God is so much fun.
After Dawn and I dropped Lorie off at the airport, we drove back to Moravian Falls. We decided to go back for a couple more days. We got invited to stay at the Apple Hill Lodge. We are really excited about that. We love this place.
As soon as Dawn and I arrived, we met five ladies who were praying on the deck porch at the lodge. It was obvious they are mighty intercessors. They asked us if we wanted to pray with them. We decided to join. We learned their names: Teresa (40’s), Cheryl (40’s), Tanya (50’s), Teal (30’s), and Kathleen (30’s). This is a powerhouse group.
We all spent several hours praying and talking about how wonderful God is. This was truly a Divine appointment. They blessed and encouraged us so much. We had a remarkable evening with them. They all drove here from another city in North Carolina just to hear clearer from the Lord. It was perfect timing for us to meet them.
Lord, we pray a very special blessing upon Lorie, Harry and Louise, Teresa, Cheryl, Tanya, Teal, and Kathleen. Pour out Your ooey gooey Glory upon them all. We pray this in the name of Jesus.

As soon as Dawn and I arrived, we met five ladies who were praying on the deck porch at the lodge. It was obvious they are mighty intercessors. They asked us if we wanted to pray with them. We decided to join. We learned their names: Teresa (40’s), Cheryl (40’s), Tanya (50’s), Teal (30’s), and Kathleen (30’s). This is a powerhouse group.
We all spent several hours praying and talking about how wonderful God is. This was truly a Divine appointment. They blessed and encouraged us so much. We had a remarkable evening with them. They all drove here from another city in North Carolina just to hear clearer from the Lord. It was perfect timing for us to meet them.
Lord, we pray a very special blessing upon Lorie, Harry and Louise, Teresa, Cheryl, Tanya, Teal, and Kathleen. Pour out Your ooey gooey Glory upon them all. We pray this in the name of Jesus.

Dawn, Lorie, and I all heard of an intercessor's group near prayer mountain, so we decided to go to it this morning. We found out the leaders of the group are Albert (70’s) and Ann (60’s) Rountree. We learned that Ann has Heavenly encounters nearly everyday. The Lord takes her into Heaven, and gives her amazing glimpses into the Heavenly realm. It was through these experiences with the Lord that inspired the book she has written. Ann gave Lorie and Dawn both a personalized autographed book. It was an amazing time.
We heard of another group meeting tonight at the Apple Hill Lodge. This meeting was hosted by Harry (80’s) and Louise (70’s). They were both in the ministry for years, and Harry is also an author of a book. They are both amazing people. Harry gave Dawn and I his book and autographed it as a gift. Harry also asked me if I would stand up in front of the group (fifteen people) and give my testimony of how we became traveling missionaries. I was happy to do so. We met some fabulous people today.
Lord, thank you so much for the amazing encounters. We so appreciate our new friends. We ask that you would continue to bring people into our lives that we can bless and be blessed by. We pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Dawn, Lorie, and I have never been to Moravian Falls, North Carolina before. We really have no idea where to go, or what to see. We have a friend in Sisters, Oregon who owns a house over here, so she gave us several people to contact. God worked it out perfectly, and we got directions to prayer mountain and angel rock. These are two areas where people have amazing encounters with the Lord. Sometimes people physically see angels appear in the natural realm.
We all found our way to the top of prayer mountain. We stayed up here for several hours. It was very peaceful. I could see myself living in this area for short periods at a time.
Earlier today, we called Gary Oates Ministries to see if there is any worship/glory parties happening this week. The office secretary, Jacquiline from England returned my phone call. She was very friendly, and actually invited to show us around the area. She took us to Angel Rock. It is a very special place up here.
After we stayed here for awhile, Jackie took us to a home group based out of MorningStar Church. We had a lot of fun. It is nice to meet such radical people for Jesus.
Lord, thank you for Your wonderful people. Thank you for all that You do for us. We ask that You would pour out a huge blessing upon all the people who help us. We pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen.

After church, we all headed to Moravian Falls, North Carolina. We have heard of this place being really anointed. I guess the Moravian people prayed 24/7 over this region for 100 years. People can have amazing God encounters here. Of course, you can encounter God anywhere, but there are different levels of God’s glory deposited on the earth.

It is such an exciting time to be alive. We believe we are living in the days the prophet Joel spoke of in Joel 2:28-30—
28 “And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. 29 And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. 30 “And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke.”
It is an honor to be able to release the love of Jesus on God’s people. Here is a brief list of some of the highlights from the mission field in September.
Praise Report
On May 16, 2010, the Lord gave me a prophetic word at our ministry school’s graduation. This word was specifically for someone who lived at a “742” street address. After all these months, I received this testimony from a women I don’t know named, Becca.
Becca wrote, “You gave me a word about financial breakthrough at the BSSD [Bethel School of Supernatural Discipleship] graduation. I used to live on 742 9th Street, and I totally got breakthrough a month and a half ago. I was working at --, and it was killing me, I was barely making enough money to get by. -- closes for 3 weeks during summer, and during the last week it was open, I kept ringing up $7.42 orders, and I was like “Good, God hasn’t forgotten about me.”
The night before I officially got breakthrough, I looked at a friends microwave and it said 7:42 (the time). I applied for a job at -- and I was sure I didn’t get it because they took so long to get back to me, but I did get the job. And I knew it was the breakthrough. I’m making about 4 times as much now and I don’t need to worry about money which is amazing, although I’m not planning on spending unwisely.
Anyway, God is good, and he came through like always :)”
In the name of Jesus, we release this testimony of financial breakthrough over you. Lord, we pray a supernatural blessing upon Your people. Amen.
God is getting ready to make a distinction between His people—those who have fully committed themselves to Him—and those who are still of this world. Let’s surrender all.
