Buried Treasure

I AM the Heavenly Father. While you live on this earth, not everybody will understand you perfectly. Sadly, people will not always honor you the way they should. Others may not value you the way We value you. Do not be discouraged. During Jesus' earthly ministry, many people failed to see the value and greatness in Jesus. Jesus was perfect in every way--blameless, faultless, and sinless. (I Peter 2:21-22.) However, many rejected, ridiculed, mocked, and hated Jesus. Many refused to honor My precious Son.

Even if people do not honor you the way you deserve, you are still called to love. Every person is created in Our image, therefore every person automatically qualifies to be valued, honored, and loved regardless. (Genesis 1:26-27.) Jesus said, "By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” (John 13:35.) One of your assignments as a believer is to find the gold buried inside of others. You may have to sift through dirt, but We have placed treasures inside of every person. When you find the good nuggets, you will actually be helping pull that person into their true God-given destiny. Start searching for buried treasure deep inside of people.


I Peter 2:21-22
21 For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps:

22 “Who committed no sin,
Nor was deceit found in His mouth.”

Genesis 1:26-27
26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”  27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

John 13:35
