Note: The following testimonies, videos, and photos are for the Glory of God and His Goodness. It is wonderful to partner with the Heavenly Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit to help people move from dark to light, bondage to freedom, and struggle to destiny.

God is on the move. He is moving in powerful ways of healing, deliverance, salvation, miracles, and prophecy. The good news through, there is so much more awaiting us. The Prophet Joel spoke in Joel 2:28-29 saying, “28 And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. 29 And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.”

Dawn, myself, and a few other friends had the privilege of praying for a man who had a severe stroke. He was about 95% paralyzed on his entire left side. He had not stood up for over nine months and was confined to a motorized wheelchair. He was in a very difficult situation.

We began to pray and contend for his healing. I would love to report the man instantly jumped to his feet and began to run around. However, that did not happen. God began to heal him in small amounts. We would pray, and he would increase his range of motion. We would pray again, and another small breakthrough would occur. We continued aggressively praying for about 30 minutes. The man was able to stand up out his wheelchair for the first time in nine months. We believe God is in process of bringing restoration to his physical body. Even though we did not witness a complete healing miracle in the moment, we rejoice in what God did do. We just know there is more awaiting us and we are pressing in to do the greater works. (See John 14:12.)

The Enemy Has to Bow to King Jesus

By Dawn R. Pietsch

November was an amazing month, full of activity, full of excitement, and full of God stuff! Nathan and I just love the God stuff! He is our most favorite subject! We are presently living at, and doing ministry at a Deliverance Center in Oregon. People of all walks of life come in for deliverance prayer, and leave being set free! Jesus is the same, yesterday, today, and forever! The Power of His Name, the Blood of Jesus, and the finished work of the Cross trumps all darkness!

All of the enemy has to bow to King Jesus! It's so interesting to see the enemy trying to make deals, whine that they have to leave, and hate what the Blood of Jesus does to them, along with the Power of the Scriptures! They also hate the fire of the Holy Spirit, and when Christians pray! They have no choice but to leave. Although, our part as Christians is to repent for our sins, and forgive ourselves and others. In the Courtrooms of Heaven, it's all about the finished work of the Cross, and what the Blood of Jesus purchased for us! Jesus did it all! And when we see the finished work of a person delivered, all we can say is, "Thank you, Jesus!" He always gets the Glory!

Since Dawn and I have come back to the west coast, our schedules have been overflowing with one-on-one prayer appointments. In these private prayer sessions, God has been going deep inside the individual and healing deep seeded wounds, traumas, and abuses. The Lord has also been shining His light to expose realms of darkness causing great torment to the person. By God's grace, people whom we have been praying for have been receiving freedom from satanic ritual abuse, witchcraft, molestation, motorcycle gangs, physical infirmities, childhood trauma, and drug addiction.

The Bible tells us in Hebrews 13:8, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever." When we look at the Scriptures, we see Jesus bringing great healing and freedom to the people He encountered. The Apostle Peter spoke of Jesus in Acts 10:38, "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him." Since Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever, He has a miracle waiting for you as well.

It seems the Lord is cleaning up and preparing His bride for something significant. Is it possible the Lord is doing a deep work in people so they can be empowered to be used mightily in a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit? Is the Lord preparing His bride so He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish (Ephesians 5:27)?

 Don't Forget the Aged

By Dawn R. Pietsch

While in Oregon, I got to go see my niece's grandparents. Both of the grandparents were in their mid nineties, and grandma had recently fallen and broken her hip. The doctors were not giving grandma much time to live. My niece invited me over to see them and talk to them about Jesus. As I mentioned Jesus to them, and that He was here with them, grandpa began to well up and cry. He knew his wife would be leaving him soon. They had been married 74 years, and He had regrets of what he could have done to give her a better life.

When I talked to grandma, she said, "Where is He [Jesus]?" I told her that Jesus was right next to her lying in the bed. I encouraged her to talk with Him, and she proceeded to tell Him that she needed help! She talked to Jesus about her parents and siblings, who were already in Heaven. They both just needed an encounter with Jesus. When Jesus comes onto the scene everything changes. So please remember those who are aging and home bound, they desperately need to hear a word from Jesus.

Dawn and I had an amazing opportunity to pray for a woman in Northern California in a one-on-one prayer session. Our new friend is from the country of Indonesia. The prayer was intensive, but God showed up with great power and authority. The woman received a wonderful breakthrough in her life. At the end of our time together, a heavenly angel came into our midst.

I knew an angel had arrived, because I could physically feel it. My body began to tingle. I then looked at the lady we had just prayed for. It was difficult for her to stand on her feet, because she was feeling the angel too. I then saw the angel in the realm of the spirit, and it poured an anointing oil over the three of us. Our friend felt a hot liquid run down her face. The angel then departed.

After the experience, I pondered if the western church has neglected angels. They should never be worshiped or take precedence above the Heavenly Father, Jesus, or Holy Spirit (Revelation 22:8-9). However, the early church had a strong awareness of angels (Acts 12:5-15). Jesus also had angels minister to Him (Mark 1:13).

The next time you pray, take a moment to see if the Lord sends an angel to aid in the fulfillment of your prayers. You may find yourself face-to-face with an angel like Daniel (Daniel 8:15-16), Mary (Luke 1:26-27), or Elijah the Prophet (2 Kings 1:3).

Say, "Yes" to God

By Dawn R. Pietsch

September started off like the winds of change for us, but now it's a new season. Ministry is our everyday life, such an adventure, such fun! We look forward to seeing what God has next for us in this new season. When we make ourselves available, He uses us to accomplish His will, and then lavishes us with blessings.

He is such a good God, and His loving kindness never ends. People are always on His heart. Setting them free is always His plan. Forgiveness is always His way. Love is always His motive. Giving is always His nature. He always has a plan and purpose for your life, and His desire is that you fulfill it completely. It's all just a simple, "Yes to Him," away.

The next time you're in the process of planning your life, say, "Yes" to Him, and see what becomes of your life! It's the most rewarding life you could ever live!

The theme for Dawn and I in the month of August was, "transition." It was sad for us to leave New Orleans, but we have since relocated to the west coast. Dawn spent half of the month in southern California visiting family and helping her daughter-in-law. Dawn's daughter-in-law is expecting a baby in October, but started contractions two months early. Dawn was able to help her family in many areas. Please keep them in prayer.

Another highlight of the month was being able to pray for an amazing dynamic couple in Vancouver, Washington. The woman is originally from Italy, but now lives in the USA. She had been having kidney pain for several months with no relief. Dawn and I arranged a one-on-one prayer appointment with her. After the prayer, she immediately felt relief. She sent us a text message several days later still jubilating over her instant kidney healing. This is what she wrote: "I am happy to tell u that the left kidney area where I had pain for a few months THE PAIN left me. When I woke up the next morning no more pain till this moment gone!!!"

We believe the world is on the verge of a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit as described in Joel 2:28-29. The Bible says: “28 And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. 29 And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.” If you have been discouraged, it is time to strengthen yourself in the Lord and prepare for more healing miracles to be released on earth.

For Such A Time As This

By Dawn R. Pietsch

I was recently at my granddaughter's 3rd birthday party. The theme was "Esther's Tea Party!" It was absolutely gorgeous. They had a pergola draped with pink sheer curtains, a beautiful tablecloth with three-tiered plates, tasty gourmet treats, gems scattered all over the table, a tea set with beautiful dishes, and gifts all around.

The little girls who were invited were all dressed in their princess' dresses. They were given a Tierra crown for their sweet little heads. What was the most interesting of all, was that they all played the part of princess so perfectly! They were groomed from Heaven for such a time as this!

As little children, they are handpicked from our Heavenly Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit to be children of God, with a role from Heaven to complete here on earth. They talked about their castles, gems, and the glittery glory, visions coming from their imaginations... or is it really their imaginations, or just a remembrance from Heaven?

My son is the one who put this all together for his daughter. I marveled how he did it without knowing it was like an "Esther Tea Party!" Ooh, how our Heavenly Father longs to lavish his children with the things of Heaven, we must respond as we would in Heaven, and receive all of His benefits, His riches in Glory!

When Dawn and I drove into the French Quarter to street preach, the road was blocked by the police. We knew something significant had happened. We could see a person lying on the ground covered by a blanket. We knew it was a dead body. My heart started pounding. I took a deep breath and told Dawn I was going to pray for him.

I walked up to the police officer and said, “I’m a pastor, can I pray for this guy?” The officer replied, “Sure, but this is a crime scene and I can’t let you come any closer.” I was 15-feet away from the man on the ground. I asked if it was a gun shot wound, but the officer said it was a drug overdose.

I began to pray out loud and speak to the dead man. I quoted Matthew 10:8: “Jesus said, ‘...raise the dead...’ ‘"James," I command you to come back to your body and start breathing in Jesus’ name.’” I continued praying even though the police and others were there. I thought for sure he was going to sit up and start breathing. As the morticians were bagging him, I asked the officer if I could lay hands on James. The officer denied me.

After they left, Dawn and I continued to pray for him in the car. We prayed that if he didn’t come back to his body that God would save him. I spoke to James, “If you are being carried to hell, call out to Jesus. Call on the name of Jesus Christ. Ask the Lord to save you.” As soon as we prayed this, we both felt a peace fall over us. Is it possible for a person to get saved shortly after they die? I don't know, but we felt released to stop praying.

Dawn and I also got to preach and minister at a church in Mississippi. They are lovely people there. We had a wonderful time and look forward to visiting them again. I preached a message that I entitled, "Your Day of Destiny." You can watch the sermon in its entirety on YouTube by the following link: https://youtu.be/qu1JAUYd7DM.

The Warnings of a Hurricane

By Dawn R. Pietsch

July was an interesting month. Hurricane Barry, a big storm with a huge storm surge was threatening us in New Orleans. What should Nathan and I do, we asked ourselves? Do we stay in New Orleans, or do we leave and heed the warnings of the approaching storm? We chose to leave, as the doors opened for us to go to Mississippi and do ministry work. We were also able to see our good friends who live there.

Hurricane Barry did not hit as the weather people anticipated. Was that because they missed it, or was it because it was an answer to many people's prayers? Too often we believe it was a false alarm, not believing in what we prayed in faith. An unbelieving heart is not good, it sides with doubt and fear.

Doubt and unbelief tosses us like a wave. It causes us to doubt God's goodness, believe lies, and do things in our own strength, instead of God's strength and power! The Bible says in James 1:6:

6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.

I encourage you to "check in" with the Lord to see if doubt, unbelief, and fear have crept into your situations.  Doing regular maintenance on yourself is very valuable. We, as believers in Jesus cannot afford to lack in any area of dependency upon God. It needs to be His will, and His way in our lives, if we are to live victoriously.

Dawn and I have continued our street preaching ministry in New Orleans. It has been powerful, rewarding, and stretching. On one night, a man walked by us who was sweating profusely. He approached us and said, "I remember you two. About six years ago I was sitting down at the Aquarium. You walked up to me and said, 'I have a word for you from God. You have a supernatural gift of discernment.' I was so amazed at this because you both walked right up to me while I was sitting in a group of five guys. It was like I was targeted by God."

"Martin" then told us that he was at his lowest point. Two months ago, his fiancée had a heart attack and died in his arms. This resulted in him going back to alcohol. It was so bad his body was having major physical affects if he did not have a drink. The emotional pain had caused him to start drinking excessively.

He then said, “One hour ago I was lying down trying to sleep. I heard this voice, whom I believe it was God say, 'Get up and go get some help.' I went to the police station because they have a rehab and detox program that I have decided to try and enter. After that, I came walking down Royal Street and ran into you."

Dawn and I prayed for him. He rededicated his life to the Lord. We also led him through some prayers to take the pain out pertaining to his fiancée. We also spoke healing to alcohol addiction. After the prayers he said, "I feel much better. Look, I have even stopped sweating. I feel like a heaviness lifted off of me."

On another occasion a man encountered Jesus in a very powerful way. He heard me preaching and crossed over the street to come towards me. He had been drinking, but his spirit knew he needed Jesus. I was able to lead him through the sinner’s prayer.

In the realm of the spirit I could see a sharp object in his left arm. This was a word of knowledge the Lord had given me. It was a blade of some sort. I didn’t know what it was exactly, but I knew there was a spirit of death attached to it stuck in his arm.

As I looked closer at his arm, I saw the vein damaged. I asked him, “Do you shoot needles?”

“Yes, I did,” he replied.

This made sense why I saw a sharp object in his arm and why a spirit of death was also attached to his arm. I then prayed for the effects of the drug use to be removed.

After Dawn and I spoke and prayed with him for about 15-minutes I began to street preach again. He listened to my words and began to praise Jesus. He would lift his arms towards heaven and thank the Lord for rescuing him.

He was gradually becoming more and more overtaken by God’s hand on his life. God literally put him to sleep for 30-minutes lying on the sidewalk at my feet. He was completely undone by God and passed out. I could tell God was doing a deep work. It was really amazing to see. Many people were walking by and observing what was happening.

After the man woke up, I asked him, “How do you feel?”

His reply was priceless, “I feel redeemed... I feel clean on the inside.”

You can watch a short video posted on Youtube entitled, "Man Encounters Jesus :: Nathan and Dawn Pietsch."

It's His Kindness That Leads to Repentance

By Dawn R. Pietsch

Nathan and I go down to the French Quarter in New Orleans on a regular basis. We go three times per week to street preach. Nathan preaches, and I pray. There is a homeless girl that sits at the street corner and asks for money. When Nathan and I first started preaching out there months ago, she was very angry with us. In her mind, she thought we would take business from her.

Nobody has "reserved spots" down there, but there are turf wars. This especially happens if you come too close to someone's area. She would yell at us and tell us to leave and go somewhere else. She would make our time doing ministry miserable. She regularly yelled at us and called us names. We would move to different areas, but she would always be somewhere close by.

We began to pray and ask the Lord for help! We asked God to fight our battles and win them for us! Then one day, the Lord told us to give her some money. We decided to get her some gifts as well. We bought her books, journals, food, and a variety of special things that we thought she might like. We noticed she was always reading while begging for money, so we thought the books would be a good idea.

When we presented the gifts to her, she was angry to see us and threw our stuff across the sidewalk. She yelled at us, "I don't want anything from you! Keep it!" We tried talking with her more, but she wouldn't listen.

We were discouraged, not knowing what to do. By the end of our night, we saw her talking with a man who also does street ministry. After the man left, Nathan ran after him. Nathan wanted to ask the man about the homeless girl. Nathan then explained what happened when we tried to give her the gifts.

The man told us the homeless woman actually felt bad about the way she treated us. She was sorry for her behavior. The woman was hungry and now wanted back what we had originally given her. When we heard this news from the man, we decided to go talk with the homeless woman again. We offered her the gift bag one more time. She was apologetic for her actions, as we also apologized for anything we did to upset her. She took the bag with thanksgiving and we went home.

We saw her a few days later and she treated us nicely. She was thankful for our gifts. After seeing her regularly in the French Quarter, she has now become our friend. She stays close to where we are, and listens to what Nathan preaches. Even her boyfriend appreciates us and likes to be near us. God has helped us make friends with those who were our opponents. Praise God, that He fights our battles and wins them!

Dawn and I have been street preaching in the French Quarter. While I was preaching on the healing miracles of Jesus, a woman named "Felisha" fell into my arms weeping. She began to cry out, "I need healing. I need Jesus in my life. I need to give my life to God." I was then able to lead her through the sinner's prayer. Afterwards, I said, "In the name of Jesus Christ, I command all darkness to come up and out right now."

She immediately began to manifest demons. Throughout the night Dawn and I cast out many devils. Felisha received freedom from: drug use, alcohol, sexual spirits, abortion, snake spirits, unholy soul ties, and witchcraft. That night we cast out about 25 demons, and also led her boyfriend to Jesus.

At one point she vomited demonic poison out of her body. When she looked at the pile of vomit she said, “That is the demon that entered me when I took acid the first time. When I took acid, I felt something evil enter me. When it came in, I felt a huge pop in my chest. Now I know it is out of me.”

Three days later Felisha contacted us and said she was not doing well. We went to her house and prayed for her again. We cast out another 25 demons or so that were connected to her soul. Exactly seven days from the first day we met Felisha and her boyfriend, we saw them again. The transformation in their lives in this short period is miraculous. If they continue to follow the Lord, they will be used very powerfully for God's glory.

Rescued One From Disaster

By Dawn R. Pietsch

During this month, Nathan and I had many encounters with women who were severely traumatized down in the French Quarter of New Orleans. One young woman, had been visiting from Cleveland, Ohio with her two friends. I found this woman down in Jackson Square leaning on a door, half dressed, crying, and extremely drunk. She had wandered away from her friends, and couldn't find her way back to them.

I asked her if I could help her, and she agreed. She gave me her phone, and we tried to locate her friends, but they were too drunk as well. They had left her stranded and went back to their Airbnb. I prayed for the Lord to sober her up so that I could get more information from her, and He did.

I then lead her through a prayer to receive Jesus into her heart. She sobbed as she repeated every word, and was so thankful to Jesus, and me for helping her. She then revealed how she had been raped a few years ago, and hadn't been able to recover from that.

When people get raped, perversion spirits and other spirits can connect to them. This can cause them to be promiscuous and do things they wouldn't normally do. This woman may have been raped again, abducted, or killed in her present drunken state.

The date rape pill is also a big concern for women as well. This should be a wake up call to all women who are out drinking and partying. Nathan and I drove the young woman back to her Airbnb, feeling relieved and thankful that she had survived that night. Thank you, Jesus!

Dawn and I have been doing a lot of ministry in the French Quarter in New Orleans. This area is one of the worst spots in the USA for witchcraft, debauchery, crime, and sexual perversion. We have been doing a lot of open air preaching with a sound system. I am always amazed to see people flocking into the Voodoo shops, but mocking me when I tell them Jesus loves them and has a great destiny for them.

On one night when we were street preaching, a man named Jonathan in his fifties came up to us. He said he was homeless for the past five years and had been drinking. Despite his issues, he started quoting Psalm 91 perfectly. He then started singing Gospel songs. He knew the Bible very well, but also had some major problems.

I asked him if he needed prayer, and he said he did. While we were praying for him, he started acting really strange. His body began to contort and he looked unsteady on his feet. He then began to walk away from us quickly. I yelled back at him, “Jonathan, hey, Jonathan come back.”

He stopped and walked back towards us. We could see an evil spirit had surfaced and was severely affecting Jonathan's life. We commanded the darkness to leave, and Jonathan replied, "Wow, I feel a lot better." We continued to minister and he began to sweat profusely and act strange again. We then commanded more darkness to leave. Afterwards he looked normal. He said he could feel a significant difference and he left glowing.

We recorded some of the encounter and posted the video on Youtube under the title, "Man Gets Free of Evil Spirits."

The Prodigals Are Coming Home

By Dawn R. Pietsch

While Nathan and I were ministering in the French Quarter, we came across a man that was a pastor's son. He reminded me of the prodigal son. He had left his home in Chicago eleven years ago, and came to New Orleans. He squandered all his money, lived a lascivious lifestyle, and was completely broken. He had two black eyes and was in a lot of emotional pain.

He heard Nathan preaching on the streets, and was drawn to the preaching. He said it sounded like his father preaching. He kept repenting of all the sinful things he had done, and rededicated his life to Jesus! He ran off before we could ask him what his new plans were, but perhaps he was going home to his father's house, where his father would be awaiting his arrival. Our Father in Heaven is awaiting His prodigals, it's time to come home!

Dawn and I teamed up with a church to carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ onto the streets in the midst of the revelries of Mardi Gras. If you want to see miracles, it is in these types of party atmospheres where God shows up powerfully. We had many amazing experiences seeing God move.

In one instance, a man got totally healed of major shoulder pain. He was unable to raise his arm. Dawn helped pray and the man began to raise his arm over his head without pain. Two drunk guys witnessed the miracle. When they saw we had done this in the name of Jesus they began to swear at us and commanded us to leave.

In another situation the Lord highlighted a woman for us to speak with. The Lord revealed to us through the spiritual gift of a word of knowledge (1 Corinthians 12:8) that she was a powerful prayer warrior. We spoke to her and she began to weep like a baby. She then said to us, “It’s true, but I’m backslidden right now. I’ve walked away from God.” We prayed for complete restoration in her relationship with God, and she received it.

Throughout the several outreaches we did during this time, we introduced a number of people to Jesus by leading them through the sinner’s prayer. Other people were very blessed when we gave prophetic words of encouragement, exhortation, and comfort (1 Corinthians 14:3). Others also received physical healing from tormenting pain and demonic spirits. It was a great time for God’s glory.

Nathan also preached again in a church in Mississippi. He shared on how to receive immediate breakthrough by prophetic intercessory prayer. He helped activate the group on how to hear and see what the Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit are doing in the Heavenly realm. Many people had clear visions in the Spirit. The people then made declaration prayers to bring about major shifts in the spiritual atmosphere. You can watch the teaching and activation session on YouTube under the title: Prophetic Prayer Brings Breakthrough :: Preaching Message by Nathan Pietsch.

You can also watch the video entitled, Prayer to Break Strongholds and Release Destiny. This video contains footage of Nathan praying declaration breakthrough prayers to a group of people at a church. You can also enter into the realm of the supernatural and connect with the Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit. As Nathan prays:
  • feel chains of depression shatter
  • see prodigals coming home
  • be healed of heart issues
  • receive a fresh in-filling of God's holy fire
In addition to preaching inside the church walls, Nathan and Dawn went onto the streets of New Orleans in the French Quarter to share the love of Jesus while speaking on a portable sound system. While Nathan spoke, a woman approached and said, “I have a demon! I want to be free of it!” The woman ended up having many demons, and she began to manifest them while Nathan and Dawn prayed for her. The following YouTube video entitled, I Want to Be Free of This Demon! :: Nathan and Dawn Pietsch records the event.

The Saints of New Orleans

By Dawn R. Pietsch

We were sent on a great adventure to New Orleans shortly after Nathan returned from Africa. Upon arriving we were quickly embraced by the "Saints of New Orleans," and I'm not talking about the football team! The saints are the body of Christ here in New Orleans.

They daily endure the obstacles, unholy festivals, and crime that is here. However, they arise in worship, good works, and salvations! God's light is always greater than the present darkness! It's a bit like the New Testament people who furthered the Gospel of Jesus Christ, though endured hardship, they still preached Jesus as the truth, way, and life!

After my trip to Africa, Dawn and I stayed two weeks in Southern California before driving to New Orleans, Louisiana. This is now our third mission trip to this region. We are very excited to see what God will do.

We quickly reconnected with our ministry friends in this area. On one particular night at a home group, a man began to show signs of major spiritual disturbances during the anointed worship music. The overseeing leader of the group gave me permission to pray for the man. During the prayer, I had to cast out numerous dark entities. In the end, he received great freedom, dedicated his life to Jesus, and got filled with the Holy Spirit. You can watch the video of this event on YouTube under the title, Man Receives Freedom from Major Strongholds.

Dawn and I were also invited to Mississippi to preach at a church. God showed up powerfully. There were two military veterans in the group who both received a mighty touch from the Lord. I have a great respect for veterans, as my youngest brother is currently serving our country in Iraq as a soldier in the US Army. You can watch the video of Nathan preaching on YouTube under the title, Nathan Pietsch Preaching on Holy Spirit Power.

Dawn and I are very happy to be in New Orleans for this season. We have invested so much ministry time into this region from the years past. We are excited to see what the Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit will do this time.

Born Again

I had an amazing encounter with a New Orleans lady. I needed to go to the laundromat, so as I drove up, I saw a lady approaching my car. As I got out of my car, she told me her name, and started telling me all about her life. In the midst of her story, I said, "Let's pray about all of this."

As I was praying I felt the Lord say, "Ask her if she wants to get a fresh start, or rededicate her life to Jesus."  When I said this, she started to cry, sobbing on my shoulder, as she prayed. She received Jesus into her heart and was forgiven of all her sins, being transformed, with her spirit coming alive! It was a wonderful moment to see an adult woman get born again.

Ministry in Nigeria

I successfully returned from a 47-day mission trip to Nigeria. Africa is a very difficult place to stay, especially for an extended time. Basic commodities we take for granted in western countries are very uncertain. For example, in Africa there are extended power outages, running water shut downs, and inconsistent WIFI. It is a place that can stretch a person to the extreme. Despite the daily turmoils there, it is a continent where the Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit are moving powerfully.

The types of physical ailments the people have are overwhelming. I met a 16-year old girl who had a boil on her hand when she was ten. The wound never healed, but rotted away her arm for the past six years. When I first saw her, I saw the bandage on her arm but did not know the horror that lied under that cloth. I was shocked at the sight and stench of rotting human flesh.

I prayed for her arm daily to be healed for the last week of my stay in Nigeria. The Lord healed the pain in her shoulder and elbow, which caused her many problems. Also, a visible new layer of skin and flesh began to grow where it was not previously. I would be curious to see her arm in a month's time.

In addition to the physical infirmities, the spiritual needs are significant. Before missionaries from America, the United Kingdom, and Europe carried the Gospel to Africa, the continent was given over entirely to idol worship and extreme witchcraft. It is still steeped in their culture. Their nightly TV programs show chicken sacrifices and occultic practices.

It is very common to pray for them when all of a sudden they will begin to manifest demons. Some scream aloud, others become violent. Sometimes the evil spirits will begin to make the person move like a snake. This is when your faith in Jesus Christ is tested. If you are "small" in Jesus, the demons certainly know it. Fortunately the Bible says in 1 John 4:4: "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world." When the demons are cast out, the individual receives great freedom and instantly glorifies Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

In one instance I was asked to pray for a woman. While I was praying, a spirit of death manifested. The evil spirit began to speak to me and confess it had succeeded in killing the woman's father, then her husband. The spirit was also attempting to kill the woman's three children. I was able to pray for her and command the devil out. She received a great deliverance and then got filled with the Holy Spirit. You can watch the YouTube video if you like.

It is bitter-sweet to be back in the USA now. There is such a ministry need in Africa, and my trip was very successful. I do not have plans for a fifth trip at this time, but I would suspect I will be headed back to Africa in the future.

God Is in It All

By Dawn R. Pietsch

As Nathan was in Nigeria, I stayed back in the USA, in Southern California. It was a great visit with my family, but also had its hard times as well. The struggle was with what is happening in our country. After listening to the 2019 Prophetic reports, I was encouraged to see and understand that God is in it all. Even though there is a lot of disunity, God is doing a major shaking, bringing the junk to the surface, which is what we are seeing.

What the people of God need to be doing, is listening to what God is saying, and teaching others how to hear from God. We must be praying for our leaders, their families, the President, and the government as well. Prayer is powerful!

When I asked the Lord how to pray He said, "Pray that My will be done, not yours." It is easy instructions, but some people do not know how to pray, because they do not see the big picture. The Lord will help us, but we must ask. We must trust that He can handle this, because He can.
