Frontlines :: December, 2015 :: 2015 Revisited :: Nathan & Dawn Pietsch

By Nathan D. Pietsch

The year 2015 held many wonderful surprises, adventures, and excitement. Our primary geographic location of ministry consisted of numerous cities throughout Oregon and California. It is our heart's desire to share the love of Jesus and His redemptive work of the cross with any person who desires to hear.

Throughout the year,  We had the privilege of ministering to many people. Some of these included people from: France, Switzerland, and Germany.

While being in Southern California, we have had the amazing opportunity to partner with a fabulous church. We have been helping co-lead a house church weekly. We have been able to help disciple people and activate them into their life's purpose. It has been truly exciting to see people become activated in the spiritual gifts, fall deeper in love with the Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit, and begin to step into their destinies.

We have also been writing and working on a ministry training resource entitled, Destiny Activated. You can check it out at: www.destinyactivated.com.

The year 2016 appears to hold an entire new series of adventures in new locations, as we minister the Good News of Jesus Christ around the world.

By Nathan D. Pietsch

The Biblical Book of Acts is a continuation of the Gospels. Several of the key players following Jesus during His earthly ministry are found in Acts. However, one of the main characters in the Book of Acts was not even a follower of Jesus while Jesus lived on the earth. This main character's name was initially Saul, but later changed to Paul following his conversion to Christianity.

Paul was a Pharisee, a religious leader of the time who consented to the murder of Christians (Acts 8:1). While Paul was en route to persecute the followers of Jesus, he encountered the Lord on the road to Damascus in a powerful way (Acts 9). Paul's conversion resulted in him traveling as a missionary and preaching the Gospel.

When Paul went to minister to the people in Athens, Greece, his spirit was provoked within him when he saw that the city was given over to idols (Acts 17:16).  An idol is anything that has precedence in your life over Jesus Christ. This could include: cigarettes, food, a house, a job, money, or anything else.

I really encourage you to take a quick inventory of your life and see if there might be anything sitting on a throne above Jesus Christ. If you find something, ask the Lord to forgive you for having an idol before Him. Then ask the Lord how He wants to remove that idol from your life.

Frontlines :: October, 2015 :: Come Aside By Yourself :: Nathan & Dawn Pietsch

By Nathan D. Pietsch

No matter what line of work you are involved in, receiving adequate rest is very important. Jesus also emphasized the importance of rest.

In Mark 6:7-13, Jesus sent out His twelve disciples onto the mission field. Jesus began to send them out two by two, and gave them power over unclean spirits. In verses 12-13 the bible says:

12 So they went out and preached that people should repent. 13 And they cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many who were sick, and healed them.

After the twelve apostles finished their mission trip, they regathered to Jesus. Listen to what the bible says in verses 30-32:

30 Then the apostles gathered to Jesus and told Him all things, both what they had done and what they had taught. 31 And He said to them, “Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while.” For there were many coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat. 32 So they departed to a deserted place in the boat by themselves.

Whether you are in full-time ministry or a full-time mother, you must find a quite, deserted place regularly to refresh in the Lord. I hope you are able to do that today.

What does it look like to you to rest in the Lord? Perhaps you want to turn on some soft instrumental music, sit on the couch, and let God speak to you. Maybe you want to enjoy a walk in nature with the Heavenly Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit. How about a wonderful walk on the beach? Position yourself today to rest in the Lord. I really encourage you to spend at least 15-minutes today resting in the Lord. I also encourage you to write your experiences down on a piece of paper or in a journal.

Frontlines :: September, 2015 :: Praying for a Haunted House? :: Nathan & Dawn Pietsch

By: Nathan D. Pietsch

Praying for a Haunted House?

Dawn and I had the amazing privilege to pray for an amazing couple. We were expecting to only pray blessings over their business. However, while we were praying for them, they told us that they have had some weird things happen in their house, in particular one specific room. They told us on one occasion the doors were wide open. There was no breeze coming through the house. All of a sudden the doors violently slammed shut for no reason.

Dawn and I were not expecting to pray over the house, but after we prayed for the business, we entered the house and prayed that Jesus Christ would cleanse the property.

Dawn and I thought there might be more to pray for than just the business. When we initially drove up to the house, when I exited the car, I stepped on a two foot snake. The snake bit the bottom of my shoe and began hissing. Fortunately, it was a non-venomous garter snake. I immediately thought of the scripture Jesus spoke in Luke 10:19:

19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

If weird things are happening in your life, take the authority Jesus has given you and trample on the enemy.

Frontlines :: August, 2015 :: Spiritual Roots to Healing :: Nathan & Dawn Pietsch

By: Dawn R. Pietsch
www.allsufficientgod.org

I have been reading a great book, called: “A More Excellent Way.” In this book it says that there are spiritual roots to our healing! In other words, when we are not seeing our healing, it’s because of spiritual roots of sin, and iniquity within us, or our generations, that can be keeping us from receiving our healing. That may cause a stirring within you just hearing those words... but hear me out!
If we have unconfessed sin from our past, it could be hindering us. Just because we don’t remember it anymore, doesn’t mean it’s not affecting us. And just because we remember it everyday since it happened, doesn’t mean that we should just ignore it, or push it aside. Jesus paid for it on the Cross, so shouldn’t we appropriate the finished work of the cross, and the shed Blood of Jesus for these things?

This book goes on to say that most sickness, disease, and infirmities that Jesus paid for are a direct result of some kind of sin... Wow! You mean I need to confess something? Most diseases, infirmities, and sickness have a correlation with fear, stress, and anxiety... some also have a “rider” attached with self hatred, bitterness, and self rejection. Medical science also agrees with this... because there are chemical reactions in our bodies that are affected in these kinds of situations. Our bodies go into “Fight or Flight,” when encountering fear, stress, and anxiety. The longer we stay in these situations the more we are prone to disease and infirmities. Unforgiveness plays a huge role in these situations also. So, it all goes back to the biblical principles of forgiving one another.

If each one of us took the time to make an inventory of all our woes, we would probably come up with a sizeable list still lingering. It’s time for the body of Christ to get to work, with the help of The Holy Spirit leading us, and deal with these undone issues. It doesn’t take much to look around at those closest to us and see that we are in need of a Savior, and Jesus Christ is the One who has all the answers. Yes, He is the One who offers Salvation, but He also delivers us from these problems. Thank you, Jesus... that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever!!! And He loves you with an everlasting love, and desires to see you healthy and flourishing.

Frontlines :: July, 2015 :: God Blesses Businesses :: Nathan & Dawn Pietsch

By Nathan D. Pietsch
www.allsufficientgod.org

In the month of July, Dawn and I had the amazing opportunity to partner with a ministry called Co-labor. One of the main purposes of Co-labor is to take the Kingdom of God outside the four walls of the church and into the business place. They believe God wants to bless people’s businesses so they can be successful.

Throughout the Bible there are accounts of God prospering people’s businesses. In Genesis 30, Laban’s family business greatly prospered because Jacob was his employee. In verses 27 and 29 the Bible says:

27 Laban said to him [Jacob], “Please stay, if I have found favor in your eyes, for I have learned by experience that the LORD has blessed me for your sake.”

29 So Jacob said to him, “You know how I have served you and how your livestock has been with me. 30 For what you had before I came was little, and it has increased to a great amount; the LORD has blessed you since my coming...

Also, the Egyptian man named, Potiphar was greatly blessed because of Joseph. (See Genesis 39:4-5.)

If you desire to receive prayer for your workplace or personal business, connect with a Co-labor team nearest you. We would be happy to pray with you.

Frontlines :: June, 2015 :: Take the Time :: Nathan & Dawn Pietsch

By Nathan D. Pietsch

At lunch one day, Dawn and I noticed two girls eating together. I instantly felt compelled by the Holy Spirit to speak with them. We had never met them before, but I felt an urgency to talk. I felt that the Lord revealed to me that one of the girls was very close to committing suicide.

I walked up to them and said, "Excuse me. I know this sounds weird, but I feel really compelled that I need to speak with you for a minute. Are you tormented at night with horrible nightmares?"

The girl looked at me strange and had a shocked look on her face. Her initial reaction made it seem that I hit onto something. However, she denied she had any type of nightmares.

I then asked. "Do you have a strong urge to cut yourself, and you don't know why you want to?"

I realize these are pretty blunt questions, but why beat around the bush if somebody's life might be on the line? The girl denied this as well.

The other girl then said, "No, we're happy people. We have our weed."

I then replied, "Ok, always remember these words, 'Jesus help.' No matter what situation you are in." I then left.

I may never know the outcome of this two minute conversation until Heaven, but I believe it was worth my time.

Frontlines :: May, 2015 :: Are Signs in the Heavens Speaking? :: Nathan & Dawn Pietsch

 By Dawn R. Pietsch

I have some astronomy software on my IPAD, and the Lord showed me Revelation 12:1, 3 on it... It's astronomy I'm showing you... the constellations that God created. However, the New Age has taken the constellations that God created and has used them in a wrong way, a counterfeit way, which is astrology. I am not into astrology at all.

Astronomy is about mathematical equations... it's like clock work in the constellations. When it shows the "virgin" in the constellations, with the SUN clothing her, as it moves through her, and then the MOON is under her feet, as it moves through her... This is the SIGN that is being talked about in Revelation 12:1, 3.

This will happen around the month of October, 2016. At the end of September there are a lot of Jewish holidays... Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Rosh Chodesh, etc. It's interesting how around this time there are tetrads of blood moons, shemitah's and the Jewish holidays. God is talking to us and showing us SIGNS in Heaven, about what is coming... HE IS COMING QUICKLY! (See Revelation 16:15, 22:7, 22:12, and 22:20.) You can check out the pictures above taken from my IPAD astronomy software.

Some other scriptures you can view are: Genesis 1:14, Matthew 16:3 and 24:3, and Luke 21:11.

Nasal Canal Instantly Healed
By Nathan D. Pietsch

Dawn and I met a wonderful Swedish woman this month whom we were able to do ministry with. The three of us prayed for a woman named, “Colleen.” Colleen crashed into a brick wall while riding on a motorized scooter. Her face was severely damaged. She had to be rushed to the hospital and receive 21 stitches across her nose.

Fortunately, Colleen didn’t break any bones, but her nasal canal was completely swollen shut on the inside. She was unable to breathe out of the right side of her nose.

Dawn, our Swedish friend, and I prayed for her in the name of Jesus for healing. In an instant miracle, the Lord completely opened up her sinus cavity and she was able to breathe normally. We all witnessed it, and Colleen was very shocked  her sinus cavity had opened like that. It just goes to show that nothing is impossible with God (Matthew 19:26).

During Jesus’ earthly ministry, there was nothing He was unable to cure. The Bible says in Matthew 15:30:
30 Then great multitudes came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at Jesus’ feet, and He healed them.
If you are in need of healing, look to Jesus for a miracle.

March, 2015 :: Update from the Mission Field :: Nathan and Dawn Pietsch

Losing a Loved One
By Nathan D. Pietsch

On March 3, 2015 at 11:11 p.m. Dawn's mother Judith Anne Squire passed from this life to her new life in Heaven. The loss of a loved one is a very difficult situation for people to endure. Our culture in the United States does not really put enough emphasis on the mourning process. Being in the ministry, we have seen numerous people still deeply grieving years following the death of a loved one. I believe this is the case, because people stuff their grief and get involved in work, projects, or activities before taking the time to mourn.

The Biblical prescription for mourning was to be seven to thirty days (Genesis 50:10 and Deuteronomy 34:8). In Genesis 50:10, the Bible says that the people mourned with a great and very solemn lamentation for seven days. Then they were to put their grief behind and move on. God knows that excessive and lasting grief will only open one's soul to heaviness, gloom, and despair. Perhaps you have heard stories of a heartbroken parent following their child's death, keeping his room exactly the same for years following. This sort of action can actually permit a spirit of death to remain over an entire household.

In the Bible, when David sorrowed he prayed Psalm 56:8. You number my wanderings; put my tears into Your bottle; are they not in Your book? God sees our grief and does not disdain it. If you are suffering with losing a loved one, spend time with God and let the Lord heal your hurting heart.

February, 2015 :: Update from the Mission Field :: Nathan and Dawn Pietsch

American Sniper

By Nathan D. Pietsch

I rarely go to the movie theatre, but I really felt compelled to see the true story, American Sniper. In the movie, the US soldiers were hunting a horrific man known as, “the Butcher.” The Butcher would capture people and then torture them to death.

I was reminded of what the apostle Paul wrote in the Bible. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age... (Ephesians 6:12.) The Butcher, along with other extreme terrorists are really not the problem. The problem is the satanic spirits that rule and control those people to commit such brutal acts of crime.
US soldiers are in the Middle East waging war on terror in an effort to protect civilians. That is extremely honorable. However, the real war needs to be waged in the spirit realm so real transformation can take place. The church can no longer sit idly by and turn our heads to evil. Some things are so horrific it demands a response.

The body of Christ needs to arise into the true power and authority that Jesus purchased for us on the cross. A few ways this can be accomplished is by praying, renewing your mind, declaring scriptures, receiving the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, and pursuing the spiritual gifts. Let the church arise and fight back the devil who inspires the evil.

January, 2015 :: Update from the Mission Field :: Nathan and Dawn Pietsch

Dear Friends and Family,
It is amazing the first month of the new year is at its close. Dawn and I spent the month of January in Oregon. Our season in Oregon is drawing to a rapid close. We have been able to do lots of ministry in the form of inner healing and deliverance. We minister to people from all walks of life, and with all sorts of emotional baggage. It can be difficult at times, but it is amazing to see the transformation in people's lives.
During January, we also got to attend a workshop called, Heart Change. In the picture below, Dawn wrote a word of encouragement surrounding her experience at Heart Change. We hope you enjoy it.
As full-time missionaries to the United States, we desire to stay true to the call we believe we have received. Our objectives as missionaries is to reach the lost on the streets and in the marketplace in the areas we travel. We accomplish this through evangelistic outreach. Our second objective is to train and equip other churches in evangelism. Our third objective is to conduct revival meetings and conferences.
Blessings,
Nathan and Dawn Pietsch

Need A Heart Change?

Nathan and I had the awesome opportunity of experiencing a workshop called, Heart Change. During this workshop we got in touch with our hearts, feelings, and emotions. This unique workshop was designed to bring up life’s issues, and then deal with them. All the traumas that we have stuffed deep inside, that were closed behind the locked doors of our soul, were all of a sudden wanting to come out!
We dealt with the issues by acknowledging them, not hiding them in shame or embarrassment, but by talking about and working through the issues. This released the trauma from deep inside, and then we were able to release those emotions to Jesus.
Jesus already bore every trauma, hurt, and painful thing when He died on the cross. We no longer need to live in spiritual, emotional, or physical pain. We need to release our burdens to Him, and receive what He did for us when He hung on the cross.
So, why not let Jesus have all your hurts and traumas? Jesus paid a horrible price for them with His own life. He took the punishment, so that we don't have to punish ourselves any longer. He did it all! Jesus wants us to release our burdens, wounds, and stressors to Him. In exchange for our junk, He will give us life, and life more abundant. (John 10:10.)

December, 2014 :: Update from the Mission Field :: Nathan and Dawn Pietsch

By Nathan D. Pietsch

Dear Friends and Family,

We sure hope 2014 was a blessed year for you. If not, 2015 ushers in a new beginning. Dawn and I spent the month of December throughout Oregon. It was nice to be able to spend the holiday season in our home state of Oregon, even though we are both native Californians.

The year of 2014 was a time of many breakthroughs and wonderful experiences for us. There were also some very difficult times as well. In the image below, you can read a short recap of our lives on the mission field from the entire year.

As full-time missionaries to the United States, we desire to stay true to the call we believe we have received. Our objectives as missionaries is to reach the lost on the streets and in the marketplace in the areas we travel. We accomplish this through power evangelism outreach. Our second objective is to train and equip other churches in power evangelism outreach. Our third objective is to conduct revival meetings and conferences.
