Breaking Free From Evil Chains

Dawn and I had the amazing opportunity to preach at a ministry retreat. The Heavenly Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit showed up in a powerful way during the music, message, and ministry time.

There were numerous people who spoke, but I shared on breaking free from evil chains. The message was inspired from Acts 16:16-26. The Bible tells us there was a slave girl possessed with a spirit of divination. She would make money for her masters through fortune telling.

The slave girl harassed Paul and Silas for three days. After being annoyed, Paul commanded the evil spirit out in the name of Jesus (Acts 16:17-18). As the spirit left, the evil chains binding the girl spiritually were broken.

This made the slave girl’s master angry and they threw Paul and Silas in prison and chained them inside. While chained, Paul and Silas prayed and sang songs. It was during this moment that the evil chains placed upon them were broken off.

If you feel as if there are evil chains holding you back from moving forward in your life and obtaining breakthroughs, follow the example in Acts to receive freedom. Sing and pray to the Lord. You can also watch the video of my preaching message on this subject.
