Responsibilities of Leadership

www.allsufficientgod.org

I AM the Heavenly Father. Being a leader is a great honor, and a great responsibility. Jesus said, "For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required." (Luke 12:48.) I am currently raising up people who can lead, teach, and disciple multitudes, but you also need to understand the responsibilities. James was Divinely inspired to write, "Let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment." (James 3:1.) If a leader accidentally steers people away from Us, they will still be responsible for causing deception and others to stumble. Jesus also said, "But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea." (Mark 9:42.)

Before you begin to lead, teach, and disciple others, ask yourself these questions. Can you hear Our voice? An effective leader can hear Our voice, listen, and then lead people where We are taking them. Are you grounded in the Word? The Bible is truth. You need to know the truth to lead people to Us. Are you flowing with the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit will help you and teach you all things. (John 14:26.) You need a deep connection with the Holy Spirit.

Luke 12:48
48 But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.

James 3:1
1 My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment.

Mark 9:42
42 But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea.

John 14:26
26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
