When Tragedy Strikes

Check out our Photo Gallery from October, 2022.
Note: The following testimonies and photos are for the Glory of God and His Goodness. It is wonderful to partner with the Heavenly Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit to help people move from dark to light, bondage to freedom, and struggle to destiny.

In the month of October one of my great friend’s grandson was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident. The young man was only 18 years old and his name was Caden. I had met Caden numerous times ever since he was five years old. He was such a delightful young man with a bright shining future. Most importantly Caden loved Jesus.
It is natural to ask the question, “Why?” Why would a moral and spiritual boy depart earth so early? Unfortunately, we may never get the answer on this side of eternity.
Even in the midst of heartbreak and tragedy we need to hold onto the hope we have in the Heavenly Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit. The reality is that God is love and all things are working together for good (1 John 4:8, Romans 8:28). This can be hard to grasp when one is experiencing deep pain, but we must stand on the truth.
This tragedy also made me reevaluate my life. The most important aspect of life is our spiritual fitness. Caden was right with the Lord and is enjoying the splendors of Heaven now. In John 14:6 Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” It is time to surrender every aspect of your life to the Lord and receive Him into your heart. Nobody knows when our final day will be, and that day does not care how many years we have lived.
