Moved With Compassion

Dawn and I work a lot in the inner healing field. We minister to a variety of internally broken people. Individuals become damaged due to abuses, traumas, or not getting their needs met. This can result in the person splintering in their soul realm. Perhaps you have heard of multiple personality disorder, now known as dissociative identity disorder.

A similar situation can occur when an infant or baby does not get their needs met. The human will develop physically, but the neglected or traumatized part stays stuck in the infant age. This is why people act like toddlers when they get triggered even though they are grown adults.

During a trigger, the logical, adult brain takes a back seat while the child brain takes over. Perhaps you saw the Washington Nationals’ professional baseball team’s manager, Davey Martinez throw the temper tantrum when he didn’t get the call he wanted in June, 2023.

At some point, every person has experienced a version of trauma they need healing of. One way to receive the healing is to have Jesus bring compassion into that area. In Matthew 14:14 the Bible says, “And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick.” Jesus wants to bring His compassion into your life in order to heal your spirit, soul, and body.
