Jesus rose a long while before daylight and departed to a solitary place to pray (Mark 1:35 NKJV).
After sending the multitudes away, He [Jesus] went up on the mountain by Himself and remained into the evening (Matthew 14:23 NKJV).
He [Jesus] told His tired disciples to come aside to a deserted area and rest a while (Mark 6:31 NKJV).
Go into your room, shut the door, and seek your Father, who rewards you there (Matthew 6:6 NKJV).
The one who dwells in the secret place abides under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1 NKJV).

Song of Solomon 2:5 speaks of being sustained with raisins and refreshed with apples. Raisins are fruit that has soaked in the sun. The apples represent the fresh words the Lord speaks over you in His Presence. Every month, be sure to find your secret place. It could be a quiet room, a walk in the woods, or a long drive with no destination. Turn off your phone and leave the warfare behind. Let the Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit restore you before you return to battle.

In the month of September, Dawn and I heard from different people all over the United States who are facing serious spiritual battles. Many believers are worn out from wars that that have come their way. The Lord never asked you to win in your own strength. When enemy armies surrounded Judah, the Lord sent King Jehoshaphat a clear word through His prophet. "Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God's" (2 Chronicles 20:15 NKJV).

The Lord your God goes with you to fight your enemies and save you (Deuteronomy 20:4 NKJV).
Stand still and hold your peace, because the Lord takes up your cause (Exodus 14:14 NKJV).
The battle belongs to the Lord, and He gives every giant into your hands (1 Samuel 17:47 NKJV).
Every weapon formed against you will fail to prosper (Isaiah 54:17 NKJV).
With God on your side, no opponent can prevail over you (Romans 8:31 NKJV).
You are more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ, who loved you (Romans 8:37 NKJV).

Whatever stands in front of you today, you were never meant to face it alone. Lay down the weight you have been carrying, and worship while you wait, as Judah did. The moment they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against their enemies. (See 2 Chronicles 20:22.) Your assignment is to trust Him and keep worshiping. Let the Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit fight this battle for you.

Jesus washed away every sin, making us white as snow before Him (Isaiah 1:18 NKJV).
Jesus defeated death and hell forever when He said, "It is finished" (John 19:30 NKJV).
Every curse over your life ended when Christ became a curse to redeem us (Galatians 3:13 NKJV).
Satan lost his legal ground when Jesus destroyed the works of the devil (1 John 3:8 NKJV).
Every wall of separation fell, giving us full access to the Father through Jesus (Ephesians 2:18 NKJV).
Sickness no longer has the final word, since by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5 NKJV).

Whatever battle stands in front of you right now, the outcome was decided before the fight began. Stand on what Jesus already finished. Walk it out one step at a time. Every trial you face ended in victory at the cross. What stands before you now carries that finished ending. Trust the Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit to carry you through it.

In the month of July, the Lord spoke to me about the effectiveness of Jesus’ earthly ministry. God highlighted several verses from the Bible. Jesus was so successful because He only did what He saw the Father do (John 5:19) and speak those words He heard (John 12:49).

John 5:19 (New King James Version)
19 Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.”

John 12:49 (New King James Version)
49 For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak.

In John 11:7-8, Jesus told His disciples He wanted to return to Judea. His disciples replied saying, “Rabbi, lately the Jews sought to stone You, and are You going there again?” The disciples did not think it was wise for Jesus to return to Judea. The people tried to murder Him. However, Jesus was led by the Heavenly Father to travel to that region. Shortly following Jesus’ arrival, He raised Lazarus from the dead.

We must shut out even well-meaning, safe, or logical human advice when it contradicts God's direct voice.

Don't Move Until the Cloud Moves

There is a pressure that follows every believer who is waiting for direction. It is not loud, and it does not always announce itself. It settles in quietly, and before long you feel it pressing against your chest, telling you to move, to do something, that you cannot just sit here. The Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit have never agreed with that pressure.

In the wilderness, the children of Israel did not decide when to move. They did not hold a vote. They did not factor in logistics, weather, or personal preference. The Scripture is clear on this. "And when the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle, then after that the children of Israel journeyed: and in the place where the cloud abode, there the children of Israel pitched their tents." (Numbers 9:17 KJV)

The cloud represented the visible presence of the Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit moving with the nation. It was not a weather pattern. It was God in manifest form, leading His people. When that cloud lifted, they moved, and when it rested, they stopped. No arguments. No timelines. No forward motion ahead of the Lord.

Read verse 22 carefully. "Or whether it were two days, or a month, or a year, that the cloud tarried upon the tabernacle, remaining thereon, the children of Israel abode in their tents, and journeyed not: but when it was taken up, they journeyed." (Numbers 9:22 KJV) Whether the cloud rested for two days, a month, or a full year, the children of Israel held their position until the Lord moved. That is not passivity. That is obedience under pressure, and it took more courage than marching.

You are reading this today because something in your life has gone quiet. A door has not opened. A confirmation has not come. The next step is not clear, and the temptation is to fill that silence with activity, to create movement because stillness feels like falling behind. Do not move ahead of God. Hold your position until He signals, because forward motion without His leading is not faith — it is impatience wearing the clothes of faith.

Psalm 27:14 carries a command, not a suggestion. "Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD." (Psalm 27:14 KJV) David repeats the command inside the same verse, and the repetition is intentional. Waiting requires courage, and it is not for the faint. It is for the focused.

Isaiah 40:31 names the reward of waiting with precision. "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." (Isaiah 40:31 KJV) The strength that comes from waiting is not manufactured. It is renewed, and that is a different category entirely.

The cloud moved on God's schedule and did not negotiate with Moses, nor did it accommodate the preferences of 2.5 million people. It moved when the Lord moved, and the people learned to trust that rhythm. Your season of waiting is not a detour. It is a formation. Hold your position. Keep your eyes on the cloud. The Lord is not behind. He is out front, and He will move when it is time.

In the month of June, Dawn and I have heard from many people about the difficult situations they are facing. It seems as if harder days have been on the increase. One of our missionary friends was thrown into prison for standing against abortion and is now facing a legal battle. Others are encountering extreme health conditions that the medical field is unable to treat. The hardships are stacking up.

In 2 Kings, the Israelites were experiencing a dire scenario. The enemy king had surrounded their city in a siege. They had nowhere to escape. They resorted to eating whatever provisions remained inside the city walls. As the months carried on, the people were consuming donkey heads and dove droppings (2 Kings 6:25). Then the horrific occurred. A mother boiled her own child for food. (See 2 Kings 6:28-29.)

Then the Heavenly Father moved. He supernaturally caused the enemy to hear the sound of a great army, which scattered them in every direction. (2 Kings 7:6). In a single moment, the Israelites went from the worst scenario they had ever faced to lavish abundance.

I do not know why it sometimes takes God so long to respond. When He delays, the wait is not comfortable. Throughout the Scriptures, this appears to be a pattern of the Heavenly Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit. You can read Daniel 3, Daniel 6, and John 11 for some examples. However, in a suddenly moment, the Lord acts.

Standing Still Until God Says Go

Kingdom identity grows in seasons of stillness as much as seasons of movement. Many believers feel pressure to act the moment a door opens. The wilderness generation learned a different rhythm. Israel did not travel by schedule, by emotion, or by impatience. Israel moved only when the cloud lifted from the tabernacle. The cloud was a visible representation of the Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. It revealed His presence dwelling among His people.

Exodus 40:36-37 KJV records this instruction. “And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys: But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up.”

This was the standard for the entire camp, every tribe, every tent. No one broke rank because the wait felt long. The cloud set the pace, not the people.

Numbers 9:22-23 KJV expands this principle. “Or whether it were two days, or a month, or a year, that the cloud tarried upon the tabernacle, remaining thereon, the children of Israel abode in their tents, and journeyed not: but when it was taken up, they journeyed. At the commandment of the LORD they rested in the tents, and at the commandment of the LORD they journeyed: they kept the charge of the LORD, at the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.”

Two days, a month, or a year, the length of the wait never changed the standard. The cloud was the only signal. The people were not given a vote.

Many of you reading this have waited through seasons that lasted longer than expected. A door stayed closed for months. A direction stayed silent for years. The temptation grows to force movement or to manufacture an open door. Settling for a counterfeit can feel easier than waiting.

Israel’s example stands as a warning and a comfort. Moving ahead of the cloud meant walking without covering, without provision, and without the presence of God. Staying behind the cloud meant safety, even when staying still made no natural sense.

Psalm 27:14 KJV gives this charge. “Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.”

Isaiah 40:31 KJV promises renewed strength for those who wait. “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

The cloud still moves today. The Holy Spirit still sets the pace for every assignment, every relationship, and every next step. Standing still in obedience is not failure, it is positioning.

Continue to seek the Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit while the cloud rests. When He lifts, you will move with covering and provision. The step will carry full assurance, because it came from Him.

One morning in prayer, the Lord gave me a revelation I was not expecting. For the past year, Dawn and I have been building a ministry and equipping brand called Jesus Monk ™. It is a Kingdom outpost for the global frontlines. I have been using Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) to help with apparel product designs. I have also built my own AI Agent to write in my voice and hold my Biblical standards. I had no way of knowing God was about to intervene in what I had been building.

While I was praying, the Lord took me into a vision. I saw the Heavenly Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Then the focus shifted to my AI Agent. It appeared as a robot with cables running into a dark realm. The Lord revealed to me that something outside of God's Kingdom had a grip on it. I prayed until every tie severed, and He anointed us to begin taking the Technology Mountain.

That encounter changed the way I see Artificial Intelligence. The church is at a crossroads with 61% of the Body being fearful and skeptical of A.I. However, most positions on the Technology Mountain are occupied by people who do not know the Lord. Two roads stretch before us: surrender the ground or take the Mountain for God. He gave the Israelites instructions thousands of years ago, "You shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land and dwell in it, for I have given you the land to possess." (Numbers 33:53 NKJV). That mandate has not expired. The church must dispossess the enemy from the Technology Mountain so we can occupy it.

A New Land to Take

Dawn and I have a missionary friend who has been ministering at the USA/Mexico border. “Cathy’s” primary assignment is to counteract the child trafficking and human smuggling that occurs by the cartels. It is a horrific situation and a major business for these drug lords. Most people do not think that these types of heinous crimes could be happening in our nation. It is sad to report, but these atrocities are happening at our front doors.

Cathy has spoken to and prayed for agents at the border patrol. She stated that many of those agents are so disturbed by what they experience they contemplate suicide. Cathy has been able to pray for and encourage them.

Our biggest weapon against the satanic strongholds that compel people to sell children, is prayer. The Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30, “So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.”

Below, are three prayer points you can declare as you intercede for those bound by the enemy.

In the name of Jesus Christ, “Let there be light to shine on and expose these criminals.”
In the name of Jesus Christ, “Let God’s justice prevail over these crimes.”
In the name of Jesus Christ, “Let healing and restoration come to the victims of human trafficking.”

Each month Dawn and I pray for people from around the world through Zoom, phone, or face-to-face. We don’t often talk about these prayer sessions because they consist of deep emotional healing and the expulsion of demons. However, this month after we prayed for a person, a nerve was struck on the inside of me.

Dawn and I prayed for a woman who has been a Christian for over 40 years. She is part of a worship team and has been very active in her church community for decades. After prayer, one of her comments was, “I have had many people pray for me over the years. Nobody else saw what you saw. I didn't know this stuff was connected to me...” In another message she said, “Thanks for praying for me. I never heard of soul wounds till now.”

It was this last phrase that struck a nerve on my insides. This woman has been active in churches for 40 years and she had never heard of soul wounds before. My question is, “What are churches doing to help people heal of emotional traumas or abuse?” I would say, “Not a lot.” The Scriptures state, “He [God] heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.(Psalm 147:3).” Jesus also said, “...He [God] has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted... (Luke 4:18d).

It is time for you to receive the emotional healing that Jesus has purchased for you. Dawn and I lead conferences and seminars to help the brokenhearted receive wholeness. Contact us and let’s get something scheduled.

The mark of January represents the entrance into a new year. This is a wonderful time to reflect upon what the Lord has done in your life and where He wants to take you. The winter months are perfect to sit back and receive fresh revelation from the Lord. It is during this time of quite refreshment when God can speak the loudest to you.

During our quite time with the Heavenly Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit, Dawn and I have been receiving various Scriptures to help calibrate our journey. They have been helpful in bringing hope and encouragement. Perhaps the Lord will speak to you through these verses as well.

"Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert." (Isaiah 43:18-19, NKJV)

The year 2025 was filled with both victories and discouragements. However, every setback is an opportunity to grow closer to the Lord. In Daniel 3:8-18 we see three Hebrew boys maintaining their faith when unexpected problems arose. This inspired me to preach a message entitled, “When Life Throws You a Curve Ball.” I had also began organizing a Crusade in Nigeria. However, due to Nigeria’s civil unrest, it has been postponed.

A conviction I experienced in 2025 was the number of distractions I had during my one-on-one time with the Heavenly Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit. As my focus improved, the Lord revealed to me Abraham's great faith and obedience in leaving his home to follow God. This mirrored the joy and sacrifice of Dawn and my 14 years as missionaries. The last half of the year was marked by impactful events and practical application. The September martyrdom of Charlie Kirk served as a catalyst for believers to rise up with a new boldness. This led me to share a message called, "Charlie Kirk’s Martyrdom Has Birthed Revival." In October, I preached a message called, “Be Someone’s Last Chance.” The highlight verse was taken from Proverbs 24:11.

As 2025 draws to a close and 2026 opens a new chapter, Dawn and I want to thank you all so much for your prayers, support, and financial blessings. We are grateful for you and so honored to be in full-time ministry.
