On September 10, 2025, the world witnessed one of the most impactful events in modern history: the martyrdom of Charlie Kirk. Charlie was a conservative Christian who boldly expressed his beliefs and opinions through the lens of Scripture. He brought reason and truth to an upside-down, anti-Christ, woke society.

As Christians around the world continue to mourn his death, I recently preached a message from the Book of Acts comparing the early church to the modern church. In Acts 12:2, the Bible tells us that James, the brother of John, was killed with the sword. Peter was then seized, thrown into prison, shackled, and sentenced to die. However, Scripture says in verse 7 (NKJV), “Now behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him [Peter], and a light shone in the prison; and he [the angel] struck Peter on the side and raised him up, saying, “Arise quickly!” And his chains fell off his hands.”

There are several key takeaways from verse 7. The angel struck Peter on the side and raised him up. As Peter arose quickly, his chains fell off. In the same way, the martyrdom of Charlie Kirk shook people around the world to their core. This has resulted in believers rising up and confronting the satanic agenda with a new level of boldness and authority. The chains the enemy had placed on them—chains meant to silence, control, and oppress—have fallen off. It took such an impactful event as Charlie’s martyrdom to wake the church and lead God’s people to reject the bondages satan had placed upon them and birth revival.

In this video, Nathan Daniel Pietsch helps bring understanding, healing, and freedom as he speaks on the martyrdom of Charlie Kirk. Nathan does this by comparing the events that happened to the early church with that of the modern church. Towards the end of the video, Nathan gives you an opportunity to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and then prays for muzzles on your voice to be removed and chains to break off you.
