I AM Jesus, the forgiver of debts. I desire to wash away all your debts both spiritually and physically. I have taught you how to pray saying, "Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors." (Matthew 6:12.) I also taught you about the parable of the unforgiving servant. (Matthew 18:23-35.) In this parable, a king wanted to settle accounts with his servants. One was brought before the king who had an astronomical debt. The servant begged for the king's mercy. The king was moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt.
However, the one who was just forgiven, found a fellow servant who owed him money. He treated the servant roughly, and would not show mercy. This behavior got back to the king, in which the king grew very angry. The king ended up handing the servant to the torturers.
It is Our great desire to forgive all debts speedily, but so many have refused to forgive others of their debts and trespasses. This is a big deal. I have instructed you to judge not, condemn not, and to forgive, lest you be judged, condemned, and unforgiven. (Luke 6:37.) Is there somebody you need to forgive?
