The Majesty of Jesus

I AM the Holy Spirit. One of My functions as the Holy Spirit is to confess Jesus Christ is Lord. (I Corinthians 12:3.) I help lead people into a personal relationship with Jesus. I point people to the Savior of the world - the sacrificial Lamb - Jesus Christ. (John 3:16.) I help reveal the majesty of Jesus.

I want you to see the majesty of Jesus from the Heavenly realm. John the Revelator records a beautiful picture of Heavenly beings exalting the King of kings and Lord of lords, Jesus Christ. I want you to be transformed from the inside out, knowing what Jesus did for you on the cross, and how worthy He is to receive glory and honor.

Look into Heaven, and see what John saw. The Bible records, "You [Jesus] are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; for You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood...” (Revelation 5:8-10.) “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing!” (Revelation 5:11-12.) “Blessing and honor and glory and power be to Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, forever and ever!” (Revelation 5:13.) This is the majesty of Jesus.


I Corinthians 12:3
3 Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.

John 3:16
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Revelation 5:8-10
8 Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.  9 And they sang a new song, saying:

“You are worthy to take the scroll,
And to open its seals;
For You were slain,
And have redeemed us to God by Your blood
Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
10 And have made us kings and priests to our God;
And we shall reign on the earth.”

Revelation 5:11-12
11 Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands,  12 saying with a loud voice:

“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
To receive power and riches and wisdom,
And strength and honor and glory and blessing!”

Revelation 5:13
13 And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying:

“Blessing and honor and glory and power
Be to Him who sits on the throne,
And to the Lamb, forever and ever!”
