Increase of His Government

www.allsufficientgod.org

I AM the Holy Spirit, and I want you to refocus your attention. So many are experiencing great fear and hopelessness. Much of this fear and hopelessness is happening because people are focusing on national governments and political leaders to bring about some sort of order and stability, instead of looking to Us. Let Me remind you of a promise I inspired My servant to write.

Isaiah wrote, "For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end." (Isaiah 9:6-7.)

Isaiah was writing about Jesus. Regardless of what the world looks like, Jesus holds every national government upon His shoulder. We reign over the earth. We have dominion and dominance. There is no end to the increase of Our government. My child, refocus your attention on Us.

Finally, you must remember all authorities that do exist are appointed by Us. (Romans 13:1.) We rule the world, not presidents, politicians, or judges. You have been called to make supplications, prayers, intercession, and thanks for all in authority. (I Timothy 2:1-2.) Do it, and watch Us work.

Isaiah 9:6-7
6 For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

Romans 13:1
1 Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.

I Timothy 2:1-2
1 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men,  2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.
